i am ordering a very slightly used pleo on eBay, but it is an original pleo, not an Rb. what are the differences and what can i expect from it?

I used to have an original (ugobe) pleo which unfortunately broke and now I have an rb but I can't honestly say I prefer either version. The rb can sense hot and cold temperatures and respond to them and can also be fed a range of different foods to cure injuries/sickness, as a treat or to cause different behaviours. Learning stones can be used to teach an rb different tricks e.g. play dead. Learning stones and extra foods have to be brought seperately though which can get expensive.The rb comes in a wide range of colours and eye colours. The rb also has a real time clock which allows it to know feeding times, be hungry and fall asleep and wake up on time - this makes it more like a real pet but also more dificult to take care of.Although the Ugobe doesn't have these things I think the only real thing you'd be missing out on is the real time clock which for some reason I find quite cool. The Ugobe sings when tickled under the chin and can lift its front right and back left feet in the air or vice versa when you touch them (you have to use a learning stone for these tricks on the rb although it does have more tricks). For some reason I find my rb more active than my Ugobe (maybe I just got an active pleo) and it can walk more easily over rough surfaces and thick surfaces. But the Ugobe has an explore mode where it will walk around freely. One downside of the Ugobe is that it is more prone to paint wear, skin ripping and broken necks although the rb can get peeling paint.

OMG!!! inmemoryofromeo, i've seen as many of your pleo u tube videos as i can, i love all your skits, and all your pleos are adorable!!!!
ps. your dog is adorable!!! how did s/he react when s/he first saw pleo?

He's much better these days, he will even stay in the same room so long as they don't come too close.

I do have a Original Pleo UGOBE very NEWWWWW actually, and i just updated to the software LifeOS 2.0.1 update (via SD card)
