It's my birthday and I got the best gift ever  ;D  A Pleo  ;D
He was lovingly wrapped up by my kids and my daughter made him all pretty with a beautiful pink bow.
His name is Frankie...... He has a broken neck - side cable and I think at least one maybe two broken vertebrae.  So He has a few bumps in his neck.... hence I thought Frankie was an appropriate name.  (Short for Frankenstein )
I am going to repair his neck - hopefully starting on him next week.  Best of all he is mine to keep  ;D

 congrats Kat on acquiring Frankie, love the name! I am sure he is in very capable hands and will have that neck fixed in no time! Most of all, Happy Birthday to you. I saw on Facebook last week that you and another member here.( also on facebook...) had birthdays comming up this week. I'm having a party tonight and your all invited  ;D :D  Just fly yourselves over to my place for 6:30pm and BYO drinks.  Oh and it is Star wars fancy dress  ;D.  I'm cooking roast for dinner for us all to share, I'll have the droids serve it to us while we sit back relax and play pool.  :)  :rootbeer: and eat cake!  :cake:

Lol! Happy birthday, Kat! Sounds like my kind of party. When we all can spare them, I'll be talking grammar in five different languages with C3PO and going through R2D2's "rusty innerds" scanning for videos he may have recorded along the way. Congrats on your new arrival!

Everyone one had a ball at the party  ;D  There was much excitement from Princess Leia when the Jedi Knights killed a wumpa beast.
Gumble Skywalker spent most of the evening hanging out with R2D2 and waving his light saber around trying to look cool for all the female pleos  :D
We hung out with storm troopers and even an Ewok at the bar.

I didn't have time to make proper costumes for all my pleos so I just made do with what I had laying around and we improvised.  I spent most of this week making my own costume and putting together all the droids for the party.  Had the best time ever! ;D

 Glad you had so much fun! I love Star Wars Themes, and now all the photos by themselves make perfect sense. LOL ;D I wish I could see what your outfit looks like though...........which character were you. HMM...........I loved the little light saber Gumble was holding...Where did you get R2D2 ? He is huge!             All the Pleo Clan want to have a Star War's Party now.........but I think I will have a lot of "extras" lol P:)

I made the R2D2 myself :)  I actually made a bunch of robots which we spread around the house as party decorations.  As the party was originally for the humans (the pleos just gate crashed  :D)  all the robots were as life sized as I could make them.  R2D2 is a metal rubbish bin, some hose fittings, some plumbing pipes and a bit of paint all put together very creatively by me  ;D  It's amazing just how many different types of rubbish bins are out there and how much fun you can have making them into robots.  I went as an Ewok.  I not terribly big so it was the perfect choice  :D  In between making robots I sewed myself a teddy bear suit and a hood and made teddy ears, then went out walking in the bush to find the perfect spear stick.  I'll have to try to get a photo sorted.  I didn't take any myself but I know my friends were all taking lots of pics.  I'll see what I can scrounge up and then post something :)
