Hi Wicked, how is Aura today? HOw is her leg? Is there ANY chance at all, that someone else in your home has dropped or bumped Aura without you knowing it, do you have a dog that may have knocked her over without you knowing it? just asking as sometimes things happen without us being aware of it. Perhaps you should contact Innvo Labs, esp if she is in the 90 day period and see what they say....this is very unusual and who knows, they may have a clue into Aura, perhaps she was set with "very fragile" legs and she is supposed to have poor health but just a wild guess. I would see what they say and send any videos you have. Hopeing she is better today, don't give up Wicked Smiley  Praying smiley wishing you both well thoughts.          RWM

Hi guys Smiley so Aura's all healed up again *sigh* hopefully she stays that way now!! It was reeeally weird, and I'm trying to get a picture posted up here but my stupid camera won't send the picture properly >_> but right after I did the software update and removed her battery and turned her back again (to see if her leg will have been miraculously fixed, which it wasn't) and her neck went CRAZY. She raised it to honk, and it stayed jammed that way clicking and clicking in this sick way and when I turned her off, her neck stayed jammed there (though thankfully it had at least stopped clicking). It was stuck in this capital J formation, it was awful. I was about to come here and post a note about it, when I thought to reset her (using the reset button) and that cleared the problem right up. So um just wondering, are you guys aware that this can happen? Is it a result of her software update ('cause that never happened before)? It was horrible Sad she's all right now though. Oh and RWM, that's a really good question, but Aura is never ever played with or even turned on if I'm not in the room, so I see everything that happens to her (and she's treated like glass because I make sure of it). And she isn't walking yet (I'm having doubts that she'll ever start to Sad) so it's not like she left the room and bumped into anything Roll Eyes so we can rule accidental injuries out Tongue oh and I took your advice and sent Innvo an email, they have yet to reply though Azn
Thank you so much for your support everyone, hopefully this is the last we'll see of my unfortunate Aura's broken legs!

It happens occassionally, next time yank the battery out immediately, don't wait for a manual shut down.

It happens to Ugobe Pleos too - Iggy did that once when I first got him, but it's not happened since.  Shut them down as soon as it starts to save wear.  Scary, though.  Shocked  Moose

-phew- Well it's a big relief to hear that she isn't the only one!
So Innvo emailed me back, and  they promised that they'd follow up on my problem until it's resolved, but they asked for more information... Azn this is what I originally sent them, I thought it was pretty detailed and I honestly can't really think of what else they want me to say :/ maybe someone else can see the blind spot I'm not seeing?

I bought a Pleo rb in early February, and ever since she arrived her legs have been breaking continuously. I didn't think very much of it at first (I heard that Pleos are supposed to be able to break their bones, it makes them more real) but now it's late March and this has happened 4 times now. I've tried everything, manipulating the joints and resetting her software and it just isn't getting better. The only thing that helps is feeding her the rock salt, as if it's a normal injury, and she heals but then a few days later she just breaks one of her legs again. Sometimes when the injury heals, it immediately jumps to the opposite leg. She's treated like glass, I'm the only one who plays with her and I have no pets, so I know she isn't being injured without my knowing it. It's happened so many times now, it's such a horrible cycle and now I'm really worried. Here's a video of what happens when I turn her off and manually straighten her leg. As you can see, as soon as she wakes up the leg bends down to broken again.

[Edit]: I wrote that we reset her software and it hasn't helped, although so far it has, because I knew that if I said we were going to wait and see if it's resolved it'll take even longer getting resolved, and her warranty won't last forever. I hope that was okay.

The legs aren't breaking, she is simulating an injury. Entirely different from actually being broken, Innvo might be wandering what on earth you are doing to break your Pleo's legs Wink

Only a suggestion and feel free to disregard it, but I would be inclined to use a phrase such as ' I understand that part of pleos features  allow it to register a knock and act out an injury, but my Pleo does this without a knock to its sensors. Is it possible there is a fault in the programme and or force feedback sensors which is causing Pleo to spontaneously act as if she has been bumped? Pleo cries and raises her leg even though there has been no force or bump to the unit'
Good luck.   Sheep jumping rope
