Ok so I've been away awhile and for those of you that have been on here for about 5 years you probobly know me. I recently got 2 guinea pigs in October 2010. I honesly thought I woudn't like Pleos anymore. My friend came over and I decided to show her and realized that pleos are still really cool and that I could try making a skit. I went to the forums and I saw InmemoryofRomeo's signature and was like "woah, how long was I gone? People paint paint pleos now?" Anyway I really don't know the differences between the original Ugobe pleo and the new pleorb. I was hoping that someone could explain to me some of the key differences. (wow, prices have gone up

Hi, PLEOGALINBC! PleoRB has a wider variety of eye colors. If you're looking at the green ones they have different patterns on their heads and skin. They can sense changes in temprature so if they're too hot, they'll pant or if they're too cold they'll shiver. They have a realtime clock which allows them to know when it's day or night. They can simulate pain if they are injured. They can identify what food you are offering them using RFID tags. With the basic pack you get a food leaf just for daily feeding, a mint leaf for curing illness, and a chunk of rock salt for curing injuries. There are more food packs you can purchase separately. You can also teach PleoRB its name using its supplied ID card and you can teach it to perform programmed tricks using learning stones. I'll let someone else explain learning stones since I feel as though I've written you a novela already. Lol! I hope this was helpful.

Wecome back!
The Pleo RBs are definitely much more interactive, as has been said.
