How can you tell if one of pleos sensors are damaged and how much physical abuse does it take for pleo's sensors to get damaged?

They don't break very easily, out of six Pleo's I only have one with a bad sensor. It is caused by the wire becoming disconnected. How to tell is easy, if they don't respond to repeated stimuli then it is damaged. skits that use the sensors are good ways to tell, but as yet there are none dedicated to the RB's.

OK thanks cause i let a four year old play with it but then he started hitting it and i took it away from him immediately but he tried hitting it in my hands. I was just a little worried about it because i don't know how fragile he is.
