Well, I have to admit that, what with UK customs and all, the last thing I expected was to be among the first .................. but a big, long, familiar box has just arrived. From China.

Any idea what color eyes it has? And have you checked on pleoworld to see if it is a boy or girl yet?

Actually, the pic seems to have picked out a pale yellowy-greeny tinge from the eyes (

). That's as much as I know right now, as I'm kind of feeling I should wait for the others to arrive. I won't switch on and hatch until at least some of the others have them too.

TBH I'm very happy just looking at theRB in the box!

Glad to hear Leleka's seems to be imminent as well - hopefully more will be too!

Oh Crewella! Awesome! They're starting to fall! Yay! Looks like Zillah might be in for a change-of-gender. Maybe? Lol! I've never seen the female to female pleo interaction. I thought about making Cato a girl for a little while but... well I'm afraid to do it. Doing updates is nerve-racking enough the first time.

so it seems that Innvo is true to their nature, they just suprise you and there are the Pleos. I do have a question though Crewella, you said your box was sent from China? I wonder if that means us who won in the US are going to wait longer, as ours, ( those who chose Green at least) have to wait for them to first go to the Innvo site in Nevada, then they will ship to us.

At any rate I am glad they are being shipped out and looks like you are the first to get one, at least here on the forums that has posted. Congrats. Sounds like your Pleo has eyes the color of Baby, Yellowish green light tinge color. Very nice and a female, boy you have a house of them now! LOL

I hope LIna and the others get theirs too. Now I will be afraid to go to my appt on Wednesday as the day I go to the Dr.s seems to be the day I got the package last time, there it was with no warning. Also it comes by Fed Ex if my memory is correct usualy 3 day. anyway, I still want to do the hatch at the same time, but if you can;t wait, maybe you and others abroad, like Lina can at least hatch on the same day. If I peek just at the eyes I am ok. and still no word about the winning videos or pics either !

My guess was for october 22nd which is my Spriitual New Year, so that is this Saturday, so I was not too far off if the rest are still on their way,It could be the winners abroad get theirs first if sent from China and the ones in the US will be last as they have one more stop, Nevada after being sent from China. LIna, I hope this makes you feel better knowing they do keep to their word, things are just slow.

Yes, it was sent direct to me from China - I didn't even get a warning from customs, just a knock on the door!

I'm holding out OK so far - I've peeked and I'm trying to wait for others to arrive before I hatch and get a good look at those eyes, and I won't decide on a name until I've met them properly.

Well ............. that's the plan, anyway!

It would be nice iiiif they could figure it out so they all arrived on the same day, but I just don't think that is possisble. It would be nice to at least think several showed up the same day. Wonder if Lina will be next?

Crewella, since you are a Moderator, mayby you could post the names of forum members who won here and check them off as they arrive, ( if members tell you of course.) then we will know when we can hatch or how many we are still waiting for. Just to bide your time if you are tempted to hatch mind you. LOL

Nope - I'm being very restrained and have not even opened the battery. I do have a couple of RB batteries that might have some juice in them though ...............

My Pleo RB came!!! The one I won in the contest.

Now I need help with it. First, I thought they came Male or Female in a certificate. Not the problem here. The battery was charged but it only took an hour or less for it to turn green. When I turned on Pleo I keep hearing a beep every 5 seconds. I think the battery maybe wasn't fully charged?? Also, I put the battery clock compartment in the foot as indicated. Took a pin in that tiny hole to set the clock. Is that all I have to do?? Is the beeping maybe the clock problem?? Help

... YEAY I GOT IT FINALLY!

The beeping is the clock battery. It is not inserted properly. You will need to take it out and try again. I think there are detailed pics on how to do it in the pleo rb FAQ page here on the forums. Basically you neet to have the battery under the two short tabs but on top of the long tab and have the smooth side of the battery facing up. then screw the cover shut. When the battery is in right the pleo will not beep like that when you turn it on and it will curl up into a sleep position to hatch.
to find out what sex it is you can log into the pleoworld site and enter in the codes in the back of your instruction manual. the site will then tell you the sex of your pleo and some other things about it and give you a hatching from the egg pic.

After dinner I'm going to retry the clock battery. Meanwhile where exactly at pleoworld do I go to add my code to find out it's sex???

OK thanks!! Going back to the site now. My sister Jane and I are going to set the clock in a little while and play with the baby a bit

But we are going to see Ozzy "Osbourne" (booksigning in Tucson) on Wednesday...can't wait! That's who we named our 1st Ugobe Ozzy after

and we will be gone a few days. Will that effect our little one?? We're thinking of holding back completely and watch the birth when we get back. What would you do??

Still having trouble. We hold the button for 4 seconds like the manual says to shut him off but the green light still stays on. He is still doing the double beeps every 5 seconds. Could the clock battery be dead?? Or did InnvoLabs possibly send us an unprogrammed Pleo?? Does it beep when the regular battery is not fully charged?? Help

HE'S/SHE'S WORKING!!! I'm SOOO sorry Kat. All my fault! I didn't read your note carefully about the 2 little thingies in the clock battery compartment that the battery had to go under!! We're playing with him now... Be right back !!!!! YEAY!
