Lubricate Pleo gears

Do you think is it possibile to lubricate Pleo's head gears between Pleo's eyes? (With a silicon spray)
My Glen is more noisy then before...

Not much way to get inside.  Yes, you could probably get the tip of a straw through the eye to spray lubricant, but not sure if that would do any good.  Most of the gears are inside plastic housings.  You might want to review some of the photos of skinless pleos to get a better idea. :P
