I cant wait to hear what he has to say (waits impatiently for the mp3 to be uploaded) hopefully we will hear more news of what will be happening with ugobe and pleo. Lets hope we get some definite dates for some software updates or OSLIFE updates

I will call Garden City Library tomorrow (Friday) and see what I can find out about the talk. I'll post what I find out, even if I get the run a round again.

I hadnt heard that ugobe have definetly gone extinct just cut down to 20 employees, surely theres still a little bit of hope

It makes me feel horrible saying this, but I think I agree. But who know's? I don't think Caleb Chung is done pulling rabbits out of his hat yet. This 'speech'/'conference' (IDK what it is) could be really crucial for us to find out what in the world is going on with ugobe.

I got through to Garden City Library and talked to an assistant librarian. She is going to call the main librarian and call me back.

Edit : I put in this post quickly in case I got a fast responce. It's a little after 11 am now and no phone call. The assistant librarian I talked to said she believed the talk was recorded. They usually put these things on Flickr, but when she checked it wasn't there. As I get more info I'll post it as quick as I can.

I checked the library web site and found nothing there. Other than the promotion of the upcoming talk. Nothing as far as a post talk review or link to a recording.

I just got this e-mail from the Garden City librarian :

"We were able to record the Caleb Chung visit. It will be a bit before I can transfer the digital video into a web-ready format. I work part time and we are currently conducting interviews to fill a position. I will email you as soon as I have it ready to post."

I was gone for a while and just checked my e-mail. The Garden City librarian sent another short message.

"I can certainly understand why everyone is eager to hear a Caleb Chung speaking engagement – he was inspiring! We had fun. I will try to get that going asap. =)"
