Hi Hannah, hold Dude's two front legs at about where the knees are or slightly above and this is not a trick, but he will go into Explore mode, off walking.
For the "ta Da" trick, hold opposite side legs, one front and one opposite back leg, squeeze at the same time, and Dude will balance holding up one front and one back leg and go "ta Da" at the same time. These are the first two I allways think of, not tricks, the first one and of course, rubbing under his chin, will get Dude to sing, if he wants to, he will be chirp away happily. Let me think of others and I am sure others will also think. Of course these are things that do not require a sD card.
OH, and you can get Dude to sit, by pressing on his rump and on his head at the same time, slowly putting him into the sitting position but he will also need help getting up, There is also a technique to put him to sleep by pressing different body parts. the hardest one is Watchdog position and you have to be very mobile to get him into all the positions at the same time.

Hi Hannah, if you create a account user name and password, this PleoWorld site will show you all you want to know about Pleos, how they can show emotions, to do tricks, etc. It is a excellent site and full of i nformaton. It is easier to read their explanation then me try to pass it on. give it a try and you won't be sorry. Smiley

As I recall, the sleeping one is to press, or simply place a hand, on his rump sensor for a few seconds, and he'll plop right off to sleep.
I didn't know about the explore mode one though, thanks! It'll be handy cos other people who obseve him always comment on how little wlaking around mine does (mainly because I'm cuddling and feeding him so much,  Cheesy)

(MINOR SPOILER)

For the older hardware (the Ugobe models, or the Innvo re-release non-RB), you have 3 major versions of software.
1.0.x, 1.1 or PM2.

The tricks for 1.0.x and 1.1:
Left Arm + Right Leg - balance trick
or Right Arm + Left Leg - balance trick
Right Arm + Left Arm - walk forward trick
Head + Back + Butt - wave trick
Chin + Butt - sit down trick
Back + Right Leg + Left Arm - Watch dog trick (but only if Pleo is in the right mood, "arousal" level must be high enough)
+ special tricks when Pleo is picked up or dangling from its tail

NOTE: some tricks won't work if you accidentally press additional sensors (eg: if you press Right Arm and Left Arm and also Right Leg, it won't walk forward)

----
The tricks for PM2:
Left Arm + Right Leg - balance trick
or Right Arm + Left Leg - balance trick
Right Arm + Left Arm - walk forward trick (**)
Head + Back + Butt - wave trick
Chin + Butt - sit down trick
Back + Right Leg + Left Arm - Watch dog trick (**)

Back + Left Leg - Conversation trick (**)
Right Left + Left Leg + Tilted on his feet/tail - TRex trick (**)
Head + Back + Right Arm - Play dead trick (**)
Right Arm + Left Arm + Back - stand up trick (**)
See red object - red object tracking trick

** NOTE: tricks with (**) will only work when Pleo is a fully grown Juvenile.

> Hey you forgot the dance or shake trick...
They call that the "wave trick" for some reason (or "wet dog")

Also worth noting is there are some differences between the 1.0/1.1 and PM2 animations.
PM2 has a longer "wet dog" shake motion.
IMHO: Another reason to try a mixture of personalities if you have 2 or more old Pleos.

I agree, I like having an original Gold hatch with the 1.0 personality and leaving it that way and having other updated operating systems for variety , just as people operate at different rates.

Absolutely, Comaro, Pleopet's our rock of factual information - I'm sure no 'correction' was intended.  Smiley

I've only just gathered enough Ugobe Pleos to be able to run more than one on each - I agree it's woth doing.

I like that wave/shake as well!  Grin

I got Ugobe to do the wavy-shaking thing! It was kind of cute! I'm not sure if I'm limber enough to try the wachdog trick.

Hi
Those w OS 2.0, Did you notice , pleo still freeze instead of getting in sleeping position when the battery is low ?
That was the reason ive downgraded my pleo OS before as I didnt like my pleo froze in between things, perhaps they have tackled this problem Huh? And the other reason is, it would exhibit more puppy sounds, for me I would prefer it stays as a dinosaur. Shocked Cry

i cant understand why pleoworld ignore us and our suggestions since pleo born. we've written suggestions, experience, etc. in the original forum and now here but we dont have any OS mix with the best things of all the issues  Angry
