Well I currently have six I-cybies (used to have seven but I sold one). One of them is a super I-cybie (those ones that hook up to your computer).

I have two i-cybies (one blue and one gold) with walk up chargers. They're actually very cool and I'm surprised just how forward their technology is given the time they were released and how much they cost back then.

You can buy new batteries for them from http://www.strikalite.co.uk/prodcat_type/20/I%2DCybie%5FRobot%5FDog%5FBattery/0/Specialist%5FBattery%5FPacks.html and he also makes chargers for the batteries. I bought two because the original ones were dead. They last for about 2.5 hours on a single charge.

Hmm, interesting, I do need more I-cybie chargers, currently my six I-cybies are sharing three chargers (due to me being clumsy and losing most of them) though I actually have around eleven batteries for them.

Additional buying advice:
Of course there's always eBay. You can find batteries and old robots on sale frequently.

SilverLit (the makers of iCybie) still sells accessories, including OEM batteries, chargers, cartridges etc
http://www.3deshop.com/ (click on i-Cybie tab)
Ships from HongKong so it can take a while.

BTW: avoid the original black colored batteries (low capacity, and no automatic charger) http://www.aibohack.com/icybie/batteries.jpg

Pardon my lack of knowledge here but I've never seen one of these guys. I know they're a robotic dog made in the late nineties to early to thousands that were under two hundred bucks and can self-charge but that's about all I know. Anyone have any videos? I probably shouldn't be watching but... aham. I will soon have enough technology sniffing around my room as it is. Oh and if you find one, please make sure that it has audio of the dog instead of just background music as I can't see captions. If you can't find one information is okay too.

Sorry, I only know the guy in the UK that sells the chargers and batteries on eBay.  I have two i-Cybies, one original and one later one that came with the walk-up charger.  I love them - I think they look great, and I still think they were amazingly advanced and well made for the money they cost.  ;D

I agree 100% :)

I have two of them and they still bowl me over. Considering how cheap they were compared to an aibo it's incredible just how advanced they are. My two never miss a beat when they walk up to their own chargers.
