Low-battery red LED
« on: January 25, 2011, 06:11:53 PM »

Hello!  We are proud owners of a new Pleo rb and are having some problems.  Can anyone out there help?  According to the owner's manual, the little LED on Pleo's stomach is supposed to turn red as the battery power declines.

We have never seen this occur on our little Clicker.  The battery completely runs out and Pleo beeps three times and goes to sleep with the LED indicator still green.  Have any of you rb owner's out there observed the red low-battery indicator light?  If so, about how long is it red before the battery runs out?

I have 2 pleo rb's and have never seen the led go red at any time on either of them.  Just like you mine go to sleep and then there are 3 beeps to say the battery has run out but the light on the tummy stays green right up to the point when it turns off.  I usually get between 2 or 2 1/2 hours of play time before having to recharge.  Hope this helps you out.
Kat :)

This "feature" too is one that has never worked properly on my Pleo RB as well. They do exactly what you and Kat describe.

Me also with Snooki. I've never seen the LED light go red when the battery is low. It just goes from green to no light ???

Thank you all for your input.  That question is answered.  The manual is wrong.  We have hundreds of other questions and will start new threads about them soon.   My husband posted this question about the red battery light.  This is my first ever posting in any kind of forum.  Bye for now.

Hello and welcome!  :D

Yep, my Belle is the same as the others have reported - to be honest I'd just assumed I'd misunderstood until this was mentioned!  :-[

Same for Pleakly, no red light here, I don't think it is a big deal, just keep an eye on the clock, after around two hours you can expect that your Pleo will be getting a bit tired.
