Pleo daydreaming?
« on: January 03, 2011, 06:17:40 PM »

Hi there! I was playing with Wilbur, my new Ugobe pleo, when he just looked at me and stalled, as if he were daydreaming. He stood there motionless for about 5 seconds. I tried to pet him under the chin with no response. I picked him up and he came to life again and was fine. Is this common or normal? He then started playing tug of war with no problems. Thanks!

Do you know what OS Wilbur is running?  I have had Pleos briefly 'freeze' on me, especially running OS2.

My Pleo rb does that every once in a while.

Hi Crewella! Yes, Wilbur is running OS2. I updated him Christmas day. Is that one of the common glitches with OS2? I am so happy I didn't brick him. I did send a message to support, and someome from innovo named rafael Suarez emailed me back and told me I could update a Ugobe pleo to os2. Will it hurt his system to stall?

I found it took about 8 battery cycles for the OS2 update to really settle down in my Pleo Iggy, but no, as far as I know it won't hurt him to briefly freeze like that.  As ehschw76 says, the new Pleo rb does it from time to time as well.  Nothing to worry about.  :D
