Hello
« on: February 06, 2009, 01:35:41 AM »

Just wanted to say hi to you all in the Forum.
What a great initiative to start a new forum now that the pleoworld forum is down :)
I've had my Pleo, Bailey, for about a month and I absolutely love him. My two year old daughter loves him too and gives him lots of cuddles and kisses. I think it's amazing how lifelike he acts and how he makes you bond to him. I've never been disappointed about the things he can't do, but then I've never expected him to be an AIBO ;)

I'm writing my Masters thesis in biology at the moment so I might not have time to write posts that often, but I'll be around :)

We welcome you, and look forward to those few posts you have time to contribute!  As a biologist, you should have some good insight on this wonderful life form! ;)

Hello mrditch,
Welcome to the forums!  I think you are right about not expecting pleo to be as amazing as an AIBO, but for what they are worth I think they are OK.
I am glad to welcome another Biologist!  I am currently an undergraduate Biologist in my second year.
