I passed on the comments from this thread to Innvo Labs. The 2010 color poll ends very soon! Be sure you voted!
Here's the link for those who didn't get it:

I did say it closed "very soon". Monday was the last day.

Just got an email from PleoWorld stating the new skin colour has been chosen!
.... but they're not announcing which one until next month.
The email states they had over 6000 votes!
Oh, and just checking their store, they now have a "Pleo Cape" to "provide an upgraded look to a well loved Pleo".

Hi, I got the same email, sorry we have to wait for the color announcement though.
Oh, well, what color do you think will get it.? Do you think the new ones will cost more than the current ones?

There were 3 green-colored choices for Pleo. And plain, old, simple green is a "favorite" color among the workers at Innvo still.

Pleos don't have a "gender", nor should they be dressed up, like a mere doll. I don't believe in names for them either (yet). It's gonna take alot more work.

..? I'm just assuming. It's easy. 'Cause they had 3 plain, old green color choices for Pleo (as opposed to the other, 2, cool color choices)....

Fancyfont, let us know how the cape is when you get it. Satan does not think the prince of darkness should have to be partially bald and would quite like a decent way to hide his infirmity. ;p

Cape should be here in a couple of days. Looking forward to seeing them on two of my dinos.

I agree with Barrettgazzy. Any of the greens would suit me. I didn't like the red much, although if that particular Pleo was an alien it would be very fitting.
(ZOMG, IT'S A PLEO FROM MARS!)
Blue was just wishy-washy....but I loved the dark green. ^^

Greens are NOT dinosaur colors, IMO.
Not those greens, anyways.
Something a like a dark teal-green with either tan or gray would be a more realistic color than all the greens that are there..... I don't get why people associate green with dinosaurs. It's ridiculous to me; not that many modern-day archosaurs are green in color.
The green, I think, makes Pleo look like a little child's toy. Now, if the green were improved or given a realistic pattern (as in darker green stripes; that would make for fine camouflage in the fern-and-conifer forests the baby Camarasaurus likely hid in), it would be "better" in my opinion.

Allo, I know, you know, way more about dinosaurs than I do, but the colors of their skin most likely had to do with camouflage or mating. I'm sure there were some green colored ones out there, especially, when the dinosaur was a baby.
I would imagine the feathered male animals were the most gorgeous colors of them all.
As for a red pleo, it would certainly look like Christmas all year long here.

Ewww!!! I hated that pattern! It looked like it was dragged out of a swamp!
LOL, I'm difficult aren't I
And yes, fancy, there almost certainly WERE green dinosaurs, just I dislike the SHADE of green Pleo has.... A smokier, bluer, or darker (lusher?) green is what I'd be looking for
Or, of course, a nice realistic pattern involving a darker color 0:-)

i would not want pleo to be a colour that i like because it just would not look right , a colour that makes him look like a dino is what i like with no exaggerated bright colours changing from green straight to a tan colour dont look so good it would of been better if the two colours gradually blended in together .
