Ahh he's had a broken neck for some time, it's got to the point where  it's getting in the way of him doing his thing so i'm going to try my very best to help him back to full health. Hopefully

No problem i love seeing the tech behind Pleo and am always looking for new info! Animation is a huge part of so many things (games, films, robotics etc) so you've got a good subject there

I saw your thread on it, you've got lots of great details and pics thanks for those, also the wire info helps a lot. At the moment I'm trying to find a wire with the right, gauge, flexibility and strength before i start opening the pulley systems. Yeah the skin's tricky, in the end i just had to cut the underlayer as well but nvm  .
I'll let you know how it gets on don't worry though I'm aware of the possible repercussions
