Hiya! I'm looking for a way to program my Pleo to walk in a straight line. I've tried using MySkit, but my Pleo ended up doing nothing but strange spasms. Any good ideas on how to achieve this? If possible, I would also like to program him to walk in a circle and in different speeds. How much is possible?  

If my plans succeed, how long can I expect Pleo to operate? I'm hoping to squeeze more than an hour of walking out of him. Is that setting the bar too high?

Active walking, you will be lucky if you can get one hour.

Under the PDK section of the software thread there is a remote control Pleo demo and the coding that you need, it has walking forwards and backwards, left and right, the trick is of course finding a remote that works with Pleo.

With MySkit try slowing down the motion a lot and also remember that in MySkit you really need to over exaggerate the movements a lot because the on screen model is not very accurate.

I think you will get maybe 45-50 minutes max, walking really sucks up the power. I would suggest investing in the Li-Poly batteries which run for so much longer.
