Of course after finding out that there would be no price change I went ahead and got a 150$ older model, (still new though, as in unopened) from amazon. It'll be here soon.

Will these be the "updated" Pleos? With the longer paint, and stronger bones?

If your really serious about an older model "Robotshop" is a good choice. I'm told they have quite an inventory.
I'm not sure what Robotshop.com (US version) lists Pleo's at. eBay and Amazon list around $149 us but with shipping costs
and exchange rate I find them too expensive.

Robotshop.ca does post to Australia and at $211.00 cdn plus 5% discount using the coupon code "september2009"
it's $201.00 cdn and I think they pay for shipping by mail and have other options that are faster but you pay for it. I think all concerned  you'll do well to check them out.

I'm still waiting to see if anything comes of the repair shop idea as Baxter is getting weary of his broken neck if it comes to getting a new buddy for him i'm thinking of just going all out and getting the new improved model but even then i'm tempted to wait and see if they introduce any real changes eg faster, stronger and quieter servos.

Am i the only one starting to get a little impatient with the lack of news coming from Innvo labs? I'm guessing there being cautious after what happened to Ugobe but come on guys, your meant to be relaunching!

I think we will be hit by an avalanche of new stuff next month when the new Pleo's are due...

I am currently eyeing off a Pleo on Ebay Aus, its been there a while now and if they relist I will be bidding. My new computer comes first of course otherwise I would have bought it by now

My laptop is ok, it runs alright in general but I keep throwing more and more sophisticated programs at it and it just can't keep up It groans when I click 3ds Max

I'm sure I heard that Amazon has raised its price in anticipation of
the new Pleos from INNVO. 

I believe everyone will raise prices after Jetta starts releasing hardware and software.   

None of its to be available anywhere else than Jetta.
