kudos is always offering me a hand to shake he always does that and opens his mouth so wats wrong and what can i do to help

There could be something wrong that is constantly triggering the sensor... but could you give some more information plese. Is Pleo doing anything else? Does he act pretty much normal at other times. Are you touching the sensor? I wouldn't be worried about the mouth, Pleo has his mouth open half the time, he could be asking for food.

he just always does that and he acts normal accept for every 10 seconds he offers me his hand to shake i know its a trick but i dont want him always doing it

I think there is something wrong, something must be triggering the sensor. Is your Pleo under warranty?

I've previously posted that Little Jim had started to do his Ta Da balancing trick constantly.  Clearly his right arm and left leg were being triggered even though they weren't being touched.

I eventually plucked up the courage to ease the skin away from this feet and roll it back like rolling up his trousers.  The sensor touchpad is simply a piece of silver foil and there's a thin green wire attached to it with a screw.   I think that the wire had broken where it was soldered to the screw tag. It appeared to be attached, but I suspect it was only holding on by the green plastic covering, not the wire itself.

So I unscrewed the tag and then re-soldered the wire to it making sure it was a good clean solder job.  Refastened the tag to the sensor touchpad with the screw and rolled his trousers back down.  A bit of Superglue reattached his skin to his foot.  Repeated with his arm sensor wire.

Everything is now back to normal.  Little Jim is scampering around the room barking at the curtains once again and he hasn't done an unprompted Ta Da since.
