I believe she was attempting a repaint but the paint she used split and peeled.  You need to use stretchy paint if you are going to paint a pleo as they move so much and the skin flexes and stretches a lot.

I  think your right Kat , but I must say the purple looks lovely ! A shame it didn't hold .
