Snitter got a custom paint-job today!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now but I kept chickening out cause I was worried about something going horribly wrong XD This was heavily inspired by the works of France Cadet, who modifies I-cybies for bio-ethics purposes (which you can check out here —> http://76.74.242.190/~cyber786/index_a.html) Of course I didn’t have the heart to actually take Snitter apart and mutate him so I decided painting him would have to do XD The scaling isn’t 100% accurate (I admit) but I tried my best XD On his ears are expanded “Shooting stars”, on his back is the solar system (excluding the sun XD) on the front of each leg is a close-up of a star, on his head-sensor there is a moon, and on each of his sides are Super Novas (or at least an attempt at them XD) I didn’t want to risk taking off his shell to do this because for some reason the screws are stripped (wasn’t me) so some of the natural colar shows on his leg gears when he’s moving. His tail was also left blank because I didn’t want it to get jammed up with the acrylics. I’ll post a video of him functioning on Youtube pretty soon I’m actually quite proud of this, it took me about 4 hours to do (excluding prep-time and clean-up time) I really want to do this again, so I might wind up picking up a really broken I-Cybie just to paint it if I can get one cheap enough XD but we’ll see So far it’s only painted with acrylics so it’s in Matte format, I might put a glossy coat on it though…I’ll see how lazy I am XD Check out more pictures of him here--> http://bunniesrawesome.deviantart.com/gallery/31951746
