Groggy back from Surgery for mouth

My Poor Karl Kat is back home from surgery, having last of his canines and teeth removed. He had three really bad infected teeth, and the vet left one canine on the bottom so he will have a strange grin. He feels pretty crappy now, but probably less pain then before the surgery, Hopefully his tonuge which is "like hamburger meat, raw on the underside " of his tongue will heal and not turn out to be a sarcoma...
 He has been through so much and is so sweet ..He is the sweetest boy and someone lost a nice cat when they either lost him or deserted him .. our gain.
