It is almost unheard of...but the Redwoods Pleos are a special breed of Pleo, they have adapted to be able to climb trees. but they have to be special trees and it takes special tree climbing genes to be able to successfully climb trees.
 of course you have to find the right tree with a low lying root system and climb slowly. those tall tall Tall Redwoods are not one of the species of trees that a pleo can climb. just too darn tall... here we see the start of the climbing , the take off
