The ranger at the ranger's station helped find a box and put Betty's egg in it. Actually, this is not the first time this has happend, he had several Sasquatch boxes on a shelf, Every year during the Sasquatch migration, Eggs are found sometimes in the forest by campers or "do gooders" who have no idea what they actually have. Sasquatch young are very very almost impossible to hatch yet alone raise if you do not know what you are doing, so he has been educated to their successful hatching and raising if the few unlucky ones are picked up like this one, but luckily Pleos knew this was Betty's egg and she would come looking for her "brood"
