Kermy has a couple of spots just like that on her front shoulders.  It looks like the paint just kind of pealed right off there and all that is left is the bare skin underneath.  A bit like the paint just didn't adhere to the skin in that spot.
I put Kermy's down to that being a highly flexed moving spot.  
It hasn't happened anywhere else on her and is easily covered by her clothes.  
Looks like I may have to re think my theory as to why the paint came off though been as yours is in a non moving part of the skin.

Yeah, I really think this particular Pleo just got a bad paint job, as a few others have gotten pleos around the same time and theirs are fine, not that we have any way of knowing who was made in the same 'batch' or anything.. if they even do that. I guess this one gets to be the first RB to get a total makeover... ?  :)

Hmm maybe this was caused by Jules rubbing his face against the ground, at least my RB rubs his nose on the ground often and the only spots where he has peeling paint are a few small places on his nose.
