Well I couldn't just leave it with an injured pic of Kai..besides he's so photogenic!! Anywho, I suppose this is going on the third week after the incident. He is quite the little man! I have recently noticed it may appear as if his open wounds are starting to heal, which of course, is wonderful!!
If you look VERY closely, on HIS front right paw, you see one of the smaller wounds. HIS left elbow is where that extremely deep gash is. Still, very open, and still pretty unattractive looking, but I think it hardly bothers him now...

Ah, you gave us away! I was hoping in my third shift ambient lighting might disguise Ms. Sophie...drats!
This was just a quick snapshot since conveniently I had both pleo and dog (at my whim) lying by my feet. A little baby talk and I had Kai lookin right at me! Precious little guy is due back on Friday [to the vet]...doing okay, finished up one prescription, and the spray is nearly empty..tehehe, hope I didn't overdue it, as the vet's assistant said I'd have leftover spray...starting to believe it may have been a raccoon, and I am just so shocked at how much damage was inflicted by well, roadkill..
At any rate, there I go rambling again. Kai is doing good though, happy (and as goofy) as a clam and even jumping around and flopping his goofy face and ear skin out the window for car rides. He does, at times limp just a wee bit, but I am at a loss as to how that may have happened from the alleged raccoon attack, unless it was a car accident, but then the wounds wouldn't match up! None of it makes much sense, and it surely doesn't help when you can't just ask "What happened??"
