NOVA INSIDE PART OF A HUGE REDWOOD TREE STUMP. SHE LOOKS RATHER SMALL INSIDE THIS STUMP, BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE SMALLER STUMPS WE CAME ACROSS. WE SPENT AT LEAST 1 1/2 HOURS HIKING THROUGH THE REDWOODS,  ;D NOVA GOT A RIDE OF COURSE, ONLY MY FEET KNOW THE WALKING AND DIDNT LIKE IT. THE REDWOODS WERE BEAUTIFUL AND THE WEATHER SUNNY

AMAZING!  How I wish to be there, to see those terrific trees!  That stump is far larger than the ancient 300+ year-old tree over at my art school, and let me tell you that is big!

Though I will brag, that ancient tree at my art school is a rather pretty silver color. ;)

Thanks allo, yes Redwoods are huge, esp the Old Growth ones. These are not even the oldest or biggest. You should take photos and post them of the silver tree you are talking about, sounds lovely.
