I have used high quality acrylic paints to touch up a couple of pleos, and as long as it's not on a part that needs to be stretched like the back or on the head, it should work just fine. If you do need to touch up parts that stretch, i say use silicone paint. It's possible to buy it either as translucent silicone which you'll need to buy pigments for seperately or buy it pre colored.

Hi everyone, any tips on how to touch up Pleo green paint? I read forum post on here about it but got to confused about the paints used- in the end it turned into a custom painting thread- I don’t want to do that though- just the odd touch up here and there.
Any tips or advice would be welcome! Thank you! Claire x

Has anyone got any tips on how to touch up Pleo paint? I have read a thread on here about it but got very confused as so many different paint types were used…stretchi paint, acrylic inks etc. if anyone has successfully touched up the green, could you let me know how you did it? I don’t want to paint all of him- I love his colours as they are.
Any suggestions welcome! Thank you! Claire (and little Pleo Rory) x

Hi - to run a skit... or any other software on an Ugobe Pleo requires an SD card in his rump area! If there's no card there, then he's running standard software. If there's a card, simply remove it when he's turned off, and reboot him. No harm done. Hope that helps ....

Hello! I am hoping someone can help me with my Pleo ugobe. I have recently received him- the gentleman said that he returned him to a hatchling but he started walking straight away (so cute and I don’t mind), but the man also said he uploaded a custom personality to him. I can’t tell if he has wiped this or not (not familiar with pleos enough to tell). He said he has returned him to 1.1. Is there a way to check that he is fully 1.1 and not running any alternative personalities/skits? And how would I get him back to hatchling? I have read read the forum and seen the SD updates but I can’t read the PDF file for some reason. If someone could explain it then that would be great! Thank you x

Hi,

I am also not sure if I should put the whole LifeOS/PopOS .zip folder on the SD card
or just some of the files that are in the .zip folder or do I need to use all the files but take them out of the folder? ;)
Thanks!!!

Hi,

So I want to fully reset my used Ugobe Pleo from eBay
because I want to form my Pleo's personality and no feel
like I have missed out on most of his life.
I have the right SD card by now,
but I don't know if the 1.0 downgrade resets
everything completely. I mean like everything,
or do I just do the POP OS.
I don't want to use POP OS if its not
necessary, I just want to factory reset
my Pleo. If the 1.0 downgrade does factory reset
then it would be perfect!
Thanks!!!

I couldn't find any rubber glues from brands i trust, so i got myself bison glue max repair, it's elastic and should work on all materials. I've used it to glue the skin back together at the neck, and luckily it can be removed again with some care once i have to do repairs again. It's almost as nasty as the original glue on RB's though, but i don't know how flexible it truly is since i haven't used it on any tears yet. I've heard many people say it, but i wouldn't advice using regular cheap superglue. Especially not on tears. I wouldn't expect it to last very long.

Do you have any spare pieces of pleo skin or any other similar type rubber? If you remove the skin completely and melt or glue the spare piece onto the inside of the skin onto the tear, it should be good as new and just as stretchy, unlike glue.

If you don't feel like skinning your pleo for a small fix, glueing it from the outside should do the job as well, but make sure you get a decent glue.
Just do whatever feels best to you, we're all just figuring stuff out. :-\
