What a cute puppy!

I have a cat named Gingivere. He's a brat, and I love him.  My boyfriend has taught him to shake hands.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUHrOgoc9Hs" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUHrOgoc9Hs</a>
He love playing pinball!

My boyfriend has a huge half Maine coon named Remy. He's kinda grumpy, but a sweet heart under it all.

The on in the middle was baby, I found her as a kitten wandering around the super market. I wasn't going to keep her, as we already had 2 cats, but my boyfriend fell in love with her. She worshipped him, and would follow him all over the place. Sadly, she passed a few months ago.

We have two dogs. Destiny is a 4yo female Catahoula Leopard. And our newest addition is a two month old yellow lab/sharpay mix. (I know I misspelled that one lololol) The attached pic is of Destiny and Sophie. P.S. sorry it's so grainy, I took this pic on the laptop webcam.

So sorry to hear that Allo. :( As cute as Guinea Pigs are they don't seem to have a long life span. Was the first one it's mate? They seem to do worse after one dies.

We just started on pig #2.  the first one lived 2 1/2 years (full life expectancy is 5-6 yrs) and died of a cold back last October.  We got this new one about two weeks ago.  The kids named him Pepe, after the Looney Tunes skunk character.  See if you can figure out why.

We do live in the country, so there are lots of animals around.  What you classify as "pets" can get somewhat vague.  The best rule, of course, is you don't name the ones you plan to eat.  ;)  I still argue over Brewster the rooster.

But what we seem to have is an over-abundance of the stuffed ones.  I'm a guy, but because I have four girls, the car I drive to work comes stocked with 7 mice and 2 moose on the dashboard; a beaver in the front seat drink caddy, a 3-foot gecko in the back window, and a stuffed bear that's bigger than half the kids.  He rides in the car seat (when not in use).  And those are just the ones that "live" in the car.  That doesn't count the transients that come and go . . .  :P

Well, they were both girls, and after the first one died, the other one got in really terrible condition.  :'(

We used to have a dog, three fish, two snakes, two hamsters, and three mice. Not at the same time, though. Unfortunetly we had two put the dog down, give away my fish (others died),one snake died (other we let go),and the mice died.  :(  Currently we have one mouse.

I have a Shar Pei dog called AJ, a ragdoll cross cat called Lucky, two cockatiels called Elvis and Honey (You can often hear them chirping along in the backgrounds of my skit movies) and a spider called Henry the huntsman that moved into my room a couple of weeks ago :P (I'm a softie I don't have the heart to move him outside (as long as he stays up in his corner :P))

That's so funny. My dad just said to me tonight he has a new pet spider in his bathroom. he calls it Spike. It's been there two weeks. He wouldn't hurt it either. I'm just learning how to catch them so I can put them outside. Still intimidated by them but I'm much larger then they are. ;D

Put a glass over them and carefully slide a bit of card under the glass and hold firmly in place till you get outside lol ;)

Mighten work on one of these ones though: (They can reach the size of a dinner plate, although fortunately mine is only a little variety :))

OMG!!!! I'd probably faint if I saw a big one of these guys.
I bought a little plastic cup with holes in the top just for catching spiders. The only trouble is that it's never in the correct spot when needed.
I used a kleenex and was very gentle the other night. Before I got him outside. he was gone!! Never have found it.  ??? I'm sure he's in here somewhere.

We get wolf spiders that average about the 4-5 inches across.  And they are pretty fast!  They seem to like the laundry room.

And every summer we get lots of what we call "zipper" spiders that stay outside.  They are some type of common orb spider.  they get to be quite large (8-10 inches) with a big bright yellow & back abdomen.  They make really big webs (4-8 feet across) between the tall grass, trees, barn, fences, etc.   The term zipper comes from the fact that they make an obvious, easy to see white zig-zag section that looks like a zipper, right in the middle of the web where they stay waiting for victims.   Occasionally a small one will find it's way iside and start a web in a doorway.  But they're easy to move.  Just take a stick a wrap their web around it and they'll just hang on to the stick until you get outside. . . :)

I did a quick google, and found this video: http://www.visionforum.com/hottopics/multimedia/enn/2006/09/1704.aspx
The variety we get is much larger, but pretty similar.

If all of us spider challenged people would take a class in spiders and bugs we probably would over come our phobias about them. That is until one is hanging right directly over your head. ;D

Many zoos nowadays run courses to help people overcome their arachnophobia, I did one just so I could get closer to some truly gorgeous spiders  :)
