pacemaker
« on: September 15, 2009, 12:02:14 PM »

Hope I've put this in the right forum.

I have a pacemaker, does anyone know wither Pleo would affect it? I can't have a mobile phone in my lefthand breast pocket because it would affect it which made me wonder about the cute wee dino. Thanks for reading :)

It doesn't say anything with regards to it in the manual, best find out for sure though :). I'm fairly sure someone on here will know so never fear. welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the reply. That's good to know that it's not mentioned in the manual, that probebly means it will be fine.  :)

Unlike a mobile/cell phone Pleo doesn't send out or receive any signals apart from the infra red, so I daresay it will be just fine :)

Welcome vegangoth, I don't know the answer to the pacemaker question but I certainly hope it proves out to be okay to have a Pleo.

Vegangoth;  :)

Welcome to the boards and to the best community anywhere.   ;)

IMR is right. There is only the danger mentioned by mweed. Your Pleo is just to wonderful and loving.   ^-^

You have now more danger from the Pleo than from your TV remote!  ???

Once again No worries and enjoy your Pleo and please keep posting!    ;)

Hi Vegangoth;  :)

I don't know if you've decided where to obtain your Pleo so here a tip.  ;D

Robotshop.ca  is listing in Canada a Pleo for $211 Canadian. If you buy before the end of September

use the coupon code "september2009" and get 5% off all products. I'm not sure about their shipping
policy to Britain but in general at $250 you get free shipping.  :o

Hope this helps you or anyone watching. I spoke to them earlier this week and they have quite an inventory of Pleos.  ;)
