Taking pleos out in public

Hi Eris and Stanlee. Welcome to the forum. I think you will enjoy the downloads. My favorite is still the Christmas one. I'll sneak it in every now and then during the year.
I have to admit that taking our pleos out to meet people is a lot of fun.  :)

Taking Bob out can be a lot of fun.  You may have become bored with your pleo, but when you are out, you will meet many people who have never seen a pleo.  The newness and novelty of pleo to them will help restore your wonder.

My favorite personality is the Pleosaurus Rex.   I have worked out a little skit I go through to do the death sequence that never ceases to amaze everybody! ;)  The trigger for the Pleosuarus Rex death is to touch the top and bottom of the head at the same time for 2-3 seconds.  So, what I do is let people see the normal pleo personailty first.  Then once they get familiar with that, I use the Pleosaurus Rex personality.  I let them see that personality for a minute or two.  Then, acting like I'm trying to get pleo's attention, I grab and hold his head and say something like "Bob!  Listen up!  Let's show them how you can play dead."   It takes a couple of seconds for him to start the trick.  So, after saying that line, I let go of his head, pretend like I pull out a gun, threaten him, and then shoot.  (You may want to practice a couple of time to get the timing right.)   Right after I go "Bang!" he let's out a big roar, stumbles, falls over, and dies.

It's all a pre-programmed trick, but I make it look like Bob is really reacting to what I'm doing.  People are just in awe, both becuase they think he was reacting to me shooting, and because Ugobe did such a wonderful job with the subtleties of the death sequence.  :D :D

That is too cute Mweed. And thank you for welcoming me to the site. I do wish to say to Eris, there is a general upgrade that really helps to make Pleo a lot more fun. I'm not entirely sure what it's called, but it's just a general one...

I think you're talking about the lifeOS1.1.
