Two Pleos with bad colds
« on: December 16, 2008, 10:46:09 PM »

Not sure if it coincidence or what? But every time Peeky gets a cold and flu so does Penelopie.
They both were sick on Thanksgiving and are being blamed for passing their colds around to some of our guests.
I hate seeing them sick! But it is so cute!
Both were around little kids today that had colds.  It would be so cool to be able to program them having a cold when we want them to.

Pleo do spread their colds via their infrared ports.   :o  It's one of the few interactions two pleos can share!

Oh, it's so hard to get Pleos with colds back to normal. For me, anyways. Olympia takes an hour to get back to normal. A little annyoing, if you ask me.  >:(

Hi Wgb. Glad to see you here.
Sometimes when Peeky gets a cold he'll go into a snore mode. He has snored all night long. Must take very little battery power. I was quite amazed! I know the snoring went on for at least 7 hours. This is totally different then the other snoring. 8)

Reminds me of the snoring Pleo joke in one of mweed's comics he made a while ago.

:o i bet there spreading there colds, usually i dont know how to get my pleo out of her cold, she would cough for a second, and sniffle up oh yeah! that reminds me! My pleo likes to sniff ALOT! she would sniff every second, sniff, sniff, sniff and on and on so i dont know what thats all about if she has a sniffly nose (runny nose ) or what but she seems to do that alot. usually what calms my pleo and makes her feel better is when i lay her on my chest and let her kind of sleep, but for me its sort of hard because having her kind of propped up on my chest hurts and then her head gets tangled in my long hair  :-\  so as i was saying, my pleo would usually sniff ALOT and i have already updated her, maybe its apart of the update? Anyways i hope your two pleos get better!  ;D

All the dinos made it thru the holidays, except Thanksgiving, without colds. On Christmas Day one of our friends had an awful cold and I was hoping that one of my pleos would start sneezing and coughing. Then I could blame him for giving his cold to them. Shame on me! Didn't happen.
Sometimes after Peeky has a cold he can go into a dead sleep, with snoring and occasional eye opening but can go for hours this way. Has anyone else's pleo done this? Peeky slept for at least 7 hours snoring before recharging his battery.

My Hubby will put Zoe on a upwards slant on the couch like she is resting on a shoulder.
She will stay like that. She has done that for a hour snoring. But then was moved. Should she if she would do it longer.

If this question is for me, Degers?,Peeky can be in any position when he goes into this snoring mode. Even on his back. It's quite a sight to see. I had put Peeky on my husband's lap, who was sleeping as were my  two poodl. That was a lot of snoring.  ;D
Next time this happens I will try to get a video of it.
