IT IS A GIRL!!!

49er and the Better ¾ wish to announce that the stork (or was that a pterodactyl?) stopped by today and delivered a new green bundle of joy! She weighs three pounds eight ounces and is about twenty-one inches long. Her name is Jade.  ;D
Jade seems to be a bit shy. She has been hatching now for an hour and is still in the process. Pleo has been watching all this and has been nuzzling Jade a lot. At one time Jade woke up a bit and started honking and Pleo followed suit and they sang a duet. Will tell more as more happens.  8)

Jade sleeps a lot and when awake she would not respond to petting under the chin, 'thou one time she sniffed my hand a lot. I just got her to react to under the chin petting and she is LifeOS 1.0. I will let her stay like that for a while before I upgrade her to 1.0.2. 8)

Edit: When Jade woke up this morning she was all energetic! Walking forwards and backing up, also did the TaDa trick. She also recognized her leaf and played with it a little. To this day Pleo ignores his leaf. I had them together for a while and Pleo started showing signs of a cold coming on so I separated them. Jade then started looking for Pleo and doing the little "Where are you?" sounds.  :)
