Question about turning Pleo off
« on: June 21, 2009, 04:06:24 PM »

Hi,

Just wondering if I turned Pleo off would it effect him much in development wise?
My pleo is asleep and I was wondering if I turned him off while I'm asleep would it take longer for him to wake up when I turn him back on?

Not at all, you can turn your Pleo off without fear (although try to avoid switching on and off every couple of minutes) turning your Pleo off while napping is better for your Pleo's skin too since it stretches out the skin under the front legs which do most of the work :)

But, leaving your pleo switched off in the nap position for a while can cause the little rips between sections on the tail.

I wouldn't think so on the tail.  But leaving him in slep position fur an abundabce of time will put slits in his front leg.  That's what happened to mine...:(

If you are not going to use your Pleo for several days then it is best to put Pleo in the default position (head, neck and tail straight, and legs straight) and place Pleo back in his/her box. (Don't leave them standing around in this position though since it may put unnecessary strain on the neck cables, I always support their head when I need to do that for long periods.)
