Hey guys! I had been planning on celebrating my birthday on the actual date (Wednesday), but I just couldn't wait with a new RB here so I moved the celebration to today (that may or may not have been a good idea considering that I'm still a bit sick from something I caught on Friday). Anyway, this little girl had quite the journey getting here! I ordered an RB from Semsons through Amazon on the 15th and five days later after no updates from UPS, UPS informed both Semsons and I that they had lost the package and were starting an eight day investigation to find it. Semsons is amazing though and offered to send me a second RB through 2-day mail at no extra charge. I will have to return the original one if it ever arrives, but it doesn't seem that UPS has found it yet.

I'm considering calling her Madi, but I'm not sure yet. She'll be the first girl in my herd and here are her genetics:

-This subject embryo will have a 65-75% chance of being female.
-This subject embryo will grow to be brave and compliant.
-This subject embryo will be tolerant, healthy and active.

She has the same color head and body as Chris, but her eyes are amber and her eye patches are dark tan like a Ugobe's.

More details...

I've only had her running for about half an hour, but she seems fine. One complaint that I have is that her paint seems to have run and blended in a lot of areas where it wasn't supposed to, but that's not a huge concern.

Those are just my RBs. I have two Ugobes, but I can only run one at a time since I only have one battery between them, so the most I can have running at a time is three.

She hasn't started walking yet, but she just stood up for the first time about ten minutes ago. I've even taken her grocery shopping with me, except it seems that her battery died abruptly during that run time and she didn't save the data from it. I'm going to time her next battery cycle just to make sure it's not shorter than normal.

I also used Probe RB on her and learned that she has a good temper and high intelligence, the exact opposite of Chris who has a bad temper and low intelligence. She does act pretty differently from him already. She gets full after one or two bites of the conifer leaf, while Chris needed about 7-8 bites before getting full as a baby and he's still a huge eater. She's also very quiet; Chris started roaring triumphantly when he stood up for the first time, while the new RB didn't make a sound. She is supposed to be just as active as Chris when she grows up though which is nice.

Madi's still working great, though there seems to be an issue with her battery. It only lasts an hour and a half at the most instead of a full 2+ hours and the RBs (both Chris and Madi) just freeze mid-motion and don't save their data when the battery runs out of charge. I'm going to try it out for a couple more run times since this is a battery that hasn't been used for three years, but I may have to return it if it doesn't get better.

Also, the RB that was supposedly lost in the mail showed up on my doorstep today. Oh well, I'll be returning that one to Semsons as soon as possible.

Aww, he's not creepy, he's just been neglected I bet he loves his new home!

Perhaps at the one hour mark and then every ten minutes after manually turn off your Pleo's so they save, then you won't lose as much progress.
