TODAY WHEN I TRIED TO TURN ON MY PLEO, IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING! (IT DOES NOT MOVE AND THE LED REMAINS OFF)

THE BATTERY IS COMPLETLY FULL, ALSO THE CLOCK BATTERY.

THE WIERD THING IS THAT WITH A USB CABLE I CAN COMMUNICATE WITH HIM USING DYNOMITE OR HYPERTERMINAL.

DOES TO ANYONE HAPPENED ANYTHING SIMILAR?

Yes, it worked perfectly untill today...

No, the battery has no problem because i have tested it with another PLEO.

so let me understand this correctly, You said the "clock battery works", is this Pleo a Pleo RB then? Also you said the battery worked fine cause you tested it on another Pleo? Was the other Pleo a Pleo RB also? Can you post a short video of this battery put into the Pleo so we can see what is going on? Does the LED light turn red , green or nothing? HOw long have you had this Pleo Rb? I am sure if this pleo worked recently then it should still work.

 What is hyper terminal? Have you used any other programs recently with this pleo such as Stats RB or anything else? We will be able to figure this out I am sure, If this was a Ugobe I would tend to think it is just a battery problem or the pleo is "dead" as often happens for no reason, but if it is a Pleo Rb, there is probably something else going on.

Is it a Pleo or a Pleo RB we are dealing with here? If it's an RB then maybe the clock has reset and your Peo thinks it is night, try turning it on at a different time of day. Also try cleaning the battery terminals, that's the silver parts of the battery and the silver parts inside the Pleo's battery compartment.

If it's an original Pleo also try cleaning the terminals.

Are there any sounds at all? Sounds can tell us a lot.

Also shouting is completely unnecessary and rude. We can and will help you but a little manners goes an awfully long way.

Hi all again,

it is a Pleo RB of InnvoLabs, sorry for not specifying it properly.

I have recorded a video (you will see  the quality is awful, but i made it with only one hand...)

I hope you can see that first i try to turn on my pleo rb with the battery completly full, but it does not move (and the LED remains OFF).

Then i connect PLEO rb to Dynomite using USB and  i can communicate with him.

Very strange, It seems like the battery doesnt connect to your Pleo :S

Have you tried turning on at different times, including the middle of the night if you have to.

When you cleaned the terminals what did you use?

Try running a skit from the downloads section, it doesn't matter which one, that will tell us if it's a battery issue or a software issue.

Also how old is your pleo rb?  Is it still under warranty? I would recommend contacting Innvo and seeing if they can help.

 LIke Kat said, how old your Pleo Rb is, can be very important, esp if still under warranty, I would contact Innvo labs to see what they say. I am curious as I saw that after inserting the battery and it would not come on, no led light, that you removed it.? Have you just tried KEEPING the battery in while trying other things, and have you tried hitting the reset button, in the stomach battery area, with a small paper clip, something very thin?

           I had a similiar problem with Cammie -Sue and after running Stats RB or Probe Rb, ( can't remember which one it was off hand......... ) that at first she would not run at all, then she went from flashing light to a solid red light as soon as the battery went in, to a dead light and then with help from PleoPet, she came back to life, with the green LED lndicator light on, but now  for what ever reason, she will ONLY run with the Female Innvo labs update on micro SD card kept in her slot in belly. I am tired of hassling with her and just glad she works again, so the micor sd card stays in for now , never comming out..


  As others suggested, have you tried just keeping the battery in since fully charged and seeing if she will wake up during the night or at some strange time, ON her own? Did you change the foot clock battery at all by any chance? It is strange to have Pleo just stop unless there is a battery problem, another program was used such as Probe RB, etc? Does Dino Mite tell you anything related to her health that is important? Have you tried the skit yet, any skit as IMR suggested? Good luck.              RWM

hi, the same problem with my Pleo.-first gen
I change the battery and when I started and after aprox 10 sec.  for a very short time moves legs and tail ....  . I tried to connect with dinamite and nothing.... there is a way to reset to factory default or re writting the OS ?

If you have a first generation Pleo then it is more likely the battery that has gone than anything software related. Unless you recently tried an upgrade? Could you provide some more information please.
