Hi All!

I just acquired a Pleo in a very unexpected way. I was at a local Goodwill store looking for hidden treasures which I do once in a while. It looked like this trip was going to be a bust and I was just getting ready to leave when I decided to take a quick look at the toy section. As I was walking through I saw a toy dinosaur that I thought looked a little familiar. Once I picked it up I realized this was not a toy and I flipped it over and read the name Pleo on the foot. A quick Google search on my phone and I realized what I had found. Took him up to the registered and bought him for 3 dollars.

Once I got home I was able to revive his battery pack with a NiMh battery charger and got to play with him for a few minutes before his battery died again. I will be purchasing on of the new Lipo packs soon so I can get him running fully.

Welcome to the pleo forums! What a lucky find , at a Goodwill store, NOthing like that in our town ,but it is a small town. If you haven't purchased a battery pack yet, consider the Li Polymer battery and egg charger here at the Pleo Forums, The egg charger and li polymer battery are only for the Ugobe pleos and the battery unlike the green batteries, runs for 2+ hrs and only takes 3 hrs to charge and is lighter in weight. There is a store here in the stores section at the top in blue, and my store is called, "Nova's Neccessities", it has the full description there or you can send me a PM. Also with a purchase of the egg charger and battery, you get a free handmade pleo cape!
             Either way, welcome and be sure to post photos of your pleo when you get the chance! ;D

Man, if only Goodwill knew how much Pleos are worth! Either way, great find and welcome to the forums! Like RWM said, you'll have to post some pictures! I assume you got a Ugobe?

And the record for the cheapest Pleo is broken :) (Not including freebies won in comps.) The previous record holder was Fancy's $5 find :)
