The item for sale is being sold by me alone and BobThePleo forums has no part in the transaction and therefore cannot be held responsible.
What I have up for sale is a Pleo RB in gently used condition. I bought it used as a gift for my dad, but unfortunately it wasn't a big hit with him or even myself, much to my dismay. On top of that, after surgery we have been unable to secure any help with SSDI/SDI. My dad and I agree that we have to resell this Pleo so we have the funds that we desperately need more so we can get food and pay bills.
The condition of the Pleo is used but in very good condition. There is some paint were on the head, the front left shoulder, lightly on the back, and on the tail. There are no rips in the skim at all, but under the two front forelegs, in the 'arm pits' as you would think to call them, there is minor wear on the skin probably due to the cape that came with the Pleo which the original owner had on it. Some of the plastic straps have broken off the cape but it still holds onto the Pleo, but I don't recommend it unless you use ribbon or something as the rubber chafes the skin.
I am not sure at what stage the Pleo is in. I ran StatsRB and it showed to be a mature adult. I have no experience with these robots so I cannot verify that. The original owner said they only ran it for a few hours, but again, I cannot confirm nor deny it. I can say that I've only run the Pleo for about 1 or 2 battery cycles and then it sat and just collected dust. I did upgrade the Pleo to the newest software update and made her a female, and I also bought a micro SD (4GB) and put the Afraid of the Dark patch on it. I also replaced the CR2032 battery in the foot for the internal clock. Both will come with the Pleo as I don't need the micro SD for anything.
The Pleo has never been registered. I tried but it wouldn't work, and the original owner told me they never registered it. I got a new security code from the company that creates Pleo, but I never used it, so whoever purchases this Pleo will have the chance to register it.
The color of the Pleo is mostly yellow for the body, a lot of yellow, and the eyes are hard to describe. They're almost like a watermelon red/pink, but have a touch of orange, almost like fresh salmon. Pictures do not do them justice pink. I think the best way to show the color would be to use the hex code and show it here:
http://www.color-hex.com/color/ff7373As far as I can tell, everything works great on the Pleo. The neck moves fine, the tail moves in all directions, there's not clicking of the joints or anything. And it has been packed very well to avoid any and all movement during transit so it can arrive with no damage.
Accessories that come with the Pleo are all the standards plus extras: charger, battery, converter plugs, cape, ID card, tug of war stone, bow stone, mint leaf, conifer leaf, cycad leaf, training leaf, sugar cane, ice, rock salt, dance stone, play stone, and eat stone. A 4GB micro SD and adapter has been added. (The adapter being what the micro SD plugs into to become a regular SD card.) All instructions are included as well as the cable to connect Pleo to the computer. The red, yellow, and green light cards are also included. All comes in the original box.
Pictures as well as a video showing it working can be seen here on my Photobucket album:
http://s1294.photobucket.com/user/Midorime87/library/Pleo%20for%20SaleI accept payment through Paypal. I am asking about $370 for it; this will cover some of the shipping and Paypal fees--I will including tracking and insurance. I will ship only within the USA or can do local pickup if someone here lives close to my residency and wishes to get it that way, in which cause I'll bump down the price; I am a southern California resident.
Please help adopt this little Pleo. It needs a home with people who will love and play with it, and we need money in order to get the things we really need since we are getting denied help. This bit of money would help us a lot.
Please also understand that this is a used Pleo and that because it's a complex machine I cannot be held accountable for future problems with it after it has arrived safely to it's new home. So after purchase if something happens later on down the line, I cannot be held accountable--it must be taken through Innvo as they can help repair it, I offer no warranty as I am not a company. So do understand that this is an as-is sale. If there is damage upon arrival, please notify me immediately and have pictures/video to show the damage.
