They are very bright orange.

I just registered him...and apparently, he...is a SHE!!!

So, I think I will name her Cammy. 



She seems to get her head stuck on her leg sometimes while she's wiggling around.  It makes her "click."  Is this a bad thing?

Well, she won't turn off...no matter what I do to the power button, she won't go back into her box position.

Have you tried pressing the button and holding it down for several seconds? Lizzy will squirm around for a while longer before she gets into position and switches off.

Yes.  I've been trying to hold it down for the four seconds like it recommends, but she just keeps doing whatever it is she's doing. 

Beginning to think I've got a dud here.  Pretty disappointed.

Just press and hold the power button until he straitens up and gives three beeps.

Do you have to do it for more than 20-30 seconds?

I just held it down for about 45 seconds, and she's still just curled up in a ball.

Well, Frontgate's customer service number was open until 2 AM eastern time, so I gave them a call and told them that Pleo doesn't seem to be working very well. 

They are sending me another one tomorrow, and with it is a UPS return label to send this one back. 

I'm pretty disappointed.  I haven't seemed to have ANY luck with stuff I've bought with this stupid work bonus.  Whether it's things are out of stock, or they are broken...I've managed to have to return three different things now in the last two weeks. 

Oh well, hopefully this next one doesn't have any problems.  If it does, I guess I'll just have to ask for my money back.

Have you tried hitting the reset button (look for a little pinhole near the belly) while on, hold for ten seconds, and checking the clock battery by removing the clock battery in the foot, turning them on, waiting for the beeping, pulling out the battery, reinstalling the clock battery and then turning on again?

Please remember that Pleo RB's start of as babies and they take a couple of weeks to fully mature. The clicking is normal in the baby stage as they are testing out their joints. It diminishes in the later stages.

IMR is right I had three that did exactly the same thing it only happens in the baby stages

Yes, I tried the reset button last night.  Didn't do anything. 

This morning I put a fresh battery in and when I press power the green light comes on but then nothing at all happens.

I've tried pressing the clock button, but haven't tried pulling and reinstalling tbe clock battery.  I will try that when I get home from work.
