Dopey 2s battery showed this symptom today. Would run for about 10 minutes.  restarted, run for another 10 minutes etc. A few weeks ago i had Pleo out during a party and he ran the full hour. It wasn't used agin until today.

The battery seems to be a real sticking point with Pleo. IMO the charger is a cheap POS and NiMH batteries were a mistake. I'm not expecting Jetta to make changes. but a better battery solution would be nice. (even if it mean Pleo would have to have something sticking out of its belly.

A new trick for the people with lazy batteries: try to charge it fully when empty. Then turn Pleo on for a minute or 10. Then charge the battery again until the light is green. Then see what happens.
So far, it yields positive results for me.
She was so active I actually managed to have Pluriel completely frozen because her battery ran too hot haha!

I tried it again for my next charge, although this time I just ejected the battery and didn't put it back in Pleo putting it straight back in the charger.
Today she is at work again for a new colleague who was interested, so I will let you know how she will perform! ;)

Beware;

If the battery problem gets really bad, something might happen like what happened to Olympia.  :'(

It worked for me on Lilo :) I got her to run for an hour and a half on it, not quite as long as on my other batteries but certainly not half bad :)

It all seem pretty random in my case.
First it looks like a new technique works, but then I still encounter a full charge that makes Pleo sleep again every now and then.
Very annoying.
Guess I am getting a second battery.
And maybe... just maybe a second Pleo lol

You are absolutely right! Mine is rather random as well. For the majority one of my batteries will never work, just immediately puts Sophie to sleep. The other seems to also have a mind of its own, but works a lot better than the other....
