So I'm guessing the battery is inserted correctly.  If possible, can you take a picture of the inside of the foot battery compartment?

Please bear with me, I might not get a chance to check back in tonight, but will look tomorrow, or maybe someone else can help. :)

Hmmmm ..... so it looks like the contact points are all in good shape, the clock battery works in another RB OK, you should be inserting it correctly as you make it work in your other RB ....... other than suggesting the reset button again with the clock battery you know works, I'm afraid I'm running out of ideas.  Try contacting Innvo to see what they say.  :-\

If that doesn't help you may have to send Innvo an email to see what they can suggest.  But first of all lets get some more information on your problem.  Was your pleo working normally before?  Have you tried replacing the clock battery with a new one?  Sometimes they go flat - I had one that came flat with my new RB and had to go out and get a new one before I could get him started for the first time.  Failing that working then take a photo of the clock battery compartment for us to check that it all looks as it should and post it here and maybe do a short video of what happens when you turn him on with all his batteries in.  Innvo will want a video when you contact them so at least you will have it ready for them.   :)

Do try replacing the clock battery with a new one, they do sometimes fail.

This happened to me once.  Not sure how it works in the rest of Europe, but in the UK I had to pay the customs fee (as the courier company has to pay it, so you have to pay them), and then apply direct to the Customs and Excise office for the amount to be refunded to me.  I had to show paperwork from the original purchase, and then the correspondence detailing the repair as proof that this was not an import, but a returned repaired item.
