Hello all,

 Well tis Christmas Day 2012. One of my daughters turned NINE today and her present was a PLEO (NOT RB) called "Lexi" I had bought from a guy who used to be the UK sales rep to Hamleys of them.


 I bought a New Batt (the one with the Egg shape charger (ex Sales Rep suggested it).
He also told me he had de-acted the registered card (though I am not able to register the Pleo).

 My daughter got Lexi whilst at the In Laws celebrating Christmas Day/Birthday. She has had a wonderful time with Lexi too.

However Lexi went to sleep and  when tried to re-act Lexi has "snored" (this is normal?).

I have downloaded a few personalities (Holidays, Halloween, Love, Rex) from the Pleo site and now would like to know if I should update OS?   Also what other things maybe worthwhile putting onto the SD card?

Lastly How do you reset the PLEO to hatchling mode (I am slowly going through the forum, as I have just found you and Happy I did)?

Last question is for the Egg Charger, It takes a USB plug and of course the Power cord socket. So firstly A, USB plugged into the charger actually charges the Batt? and B, DO I NEED to buy a PLEO ONLY power source or is a UK Power source that fits works?
As the Batt/Egg charger came with NO power cables.

 Sorry for all the question but a Hyper Christmas/Birthday Girl today who truly seems in love with her Lexi wants her up and running ASAP

Hi, congrats and welcome! 

Firstly, I'm guessing you got an adapter and original green battery and charger with your Pleo?  You can use the same plug and adapter on the egg battery charger.  If not, take the charger to a local electronics store (like Maplin) and they should be able to get the correct adapter quite cheaply.

I'd have a good read about the OSs on here, work out what yours is running and then decide about upgrades - the OS2 upgrade does give a shortened version of the hatching phase and has the latest features for an original Pleo.

 Actually NO Batt came with the PLEO when I bought it, so I bought the newer (better) batt and egg charger.  Just charged the batt and all is well

 Also updated the to the OS2 and my wife and I just been having some fun with Lexi. Now to see Birthday Girls face in the morrow with Lexi up and running.
I think I may see about another batt, moreso when we are at the In Laws so she is covered for the duration. Poor little bugger played with Lexi today at her Grand Parents, then Lexi went to sleep (Lack of Batt charge moreso I think) and ended up just cradling LEXI for a couple of hours lol

 So tomorrow our daughter will be Over the moon to be playing again with Lexi.
