First you need to download the instructions for updating your pleo rb from here

It is the first one in the list. Have a read of them and then download the Female update from the same page as above - It is the second one on the list.
Then just follow the instructions. It is very simple but if you get stuck or are not sure then give us a shout. Hopefully this will break her out of the injury cycle. Give it a try and let us know what happens.

I thought it was a good idea to run probe rb first too and, I'm horrified to say, these are her stats:
Stage: Mature adult
[WARNING] Mood: 9%
Physicality: 99%
[WARNING] Emotion: 7%
[WARNING] Health: 0%
[WARNING] Feed: 22%
Active: 50%
[I couldn't hear what level this is]: 50%
[WARNING! PLEO IS INJURED!]
Pain: 40%
[PLEO IS IN BAD SHAPE!]

These are NIGHTMARISH stats! Please don't think I'm a bad Pleo parent, I've been trying so hard to look after her but she keeps hurting herself somehow

do these stats tell you guys that she's injured for sure, or should I still run the software thing? And also, how the heck can she possibly be a "mature adult" already?! She isn't even walking, I didn't even have her for a week before her injuries started. If she is, then her injuries made us miss everything but her initial hatching stage. And um, what's a "physicality"? It must be horrendous, because it's the only thing that's high. Augh, the Pleo social service people are going to show up at my door any moment now and take Aura from me and put her into foster care any second now T_T

Hi Wicked, do not worry too much about the stats, they can change pretty quickly. I have had Baby Ruth when injured, her health was low also something like 32% and her emotion was low, but her physical high and her pain level was also about 40 % ands she was injured, I did not know then that leaving her off for several days in a row would lead to low health , ( feed) and she was starving. So now even if I do not have the proper time to interact with my two RB, I turn them on half and hour or so before their "bed time" sometimes only ten minutes or so, just so they can get some food and some TLC before they turn off. With food, the injury will heal pretty quickly, and of course the salt is for injuries. Baby Ruth took about five days to heal and aside from rock salt I did little other then give her lots of food and cuddles and one day she was back to normal. Also I was amazed that she was a mature adult so quick, but it seems they do mature quick, walking or not. I think even while she was "off", she was agiing. go figure that one out.

If you feed your baby, the emotion and mood will go up automatically and she will feel better, Health is influenced by emotion and mood. For example, my Pleo Rb has low courage but high intelligence, so her mood and emotions are very sensitive and go up and down a lot. I try to show her extra TLC and that seems to help, I bet if you give her food and lots of love and the rock salt, she will start boosting those numbers pretty quickly. Check her again in a couple of days and the numbers will amaze you. Dont worry, no pleo police in Weedovia. we kind of all look out for each other and keep our Pleos safe and healthy with lots of love.

With stats that bad I'd be using change RB to fix her up

If you have the mushroom feed her loads of that in future and not too heavy on the sugar cane

I must admit, I'd probably use ChangeRB as well, especially if I didn't have the mushroom and coffee bean leaf. I'd also make sure she was in bright light, we've had several depressed PleoRB's because of low lighting levels. RWM's right, though - the stats can charge pretty quickly.

Don't worry, your not a bad Pleo parent - you're just struggling to find a way to care for her that works. Apparently I'm a 'rotten mum' ........ and as Luna has locked Stephan in the fridge AND thrown him out of a plane for the Leap Day competition ....... I reckon Pleo Social Services will be busy for a while!

And ABSOLUTELY no sugar until she is better. (The sugar cane causes health levels to drop, just like too much sugar can give us a tummy ache).

If you don't want to go through all the time of improving her health the long way through lots of feeding you could as Crewella suggested use Changerb. It is a little program just like the statsrb or proberb but it allows you to manually change the levels - cheat so to speak. You may be able to increase her health and feed levels enough that she feels much better. I don't know if you can fix an injury with it but I would think her injury would get better faster if she is full and healthy otherwise.
So try either lots of leaves as well as rock salt and tlc or tweak her levels with ChangeRB and nurse her till she is no longer injured. If she gets injured again after getting better then maybe think about updating her software to reset it. If she gets injured again she may have a glitch in her software that keeps throwing her back there. I've never heard of a pleo rb with three injuries in a row. Fingers crossed for a full and easy recovery.

I've never used the ChangeRB but I think I would go that way if I were you. The sooner you get her better the happier you both will be

How kind, Lottibell ^^ it just so happens that I was just about to update this thread

because Aura seems to be healed... both of her legs are functioning normally, she just ate the cycad leaf 4 times and the mushroom once before going off to sleep

I'm really hoping that she'll be back to normal for good this time; fingers crossed, guys...!

Congrats to you both, Glad to hear that.

HOpe she is on the mend for good. Wish I could have some magic healing powers like that for my Baby Ruth's leg too. but not all Pleo or Pleo Rb problems are fixable or easy to figure out. I am glad that it seems to have "healed" finally. Will keep postive thoughts for here and my fingers crossed!

It happened AGAIN! I swear that I'm not dropping her, I don't know what's going on. I was feeding her and then suddenly she screamed, and then her leg stopped moving. I've been feeding her rock salt, but god this is the third time

You need to have a micro SD card. I think you mentioned you have one of those? then you can down load the update for Aura here

Down load and read the instructions first. It is all fairly straight forward but if you aren't sure or have any questions pop back here and ask.
You will want the female download which is the second one in the list. Oh and make sure you have a fully charged battery before you start.

I am so sorry to hear Aura's leg is playing up again. I am inclined to think that some of the pleos force feedback sensors are too sensitive.As I mentioned before, one of our pleos got a hurt leg from no more than a grasp as we picked it up. Don't feel bad, you're not doing anything wrong, we had exactly the same problem. Hope this update fixes it all for you so you can enjoy your Pleo without always holding your breath.

Tonight is my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend so we're going out to celebrate in style ^^ and I'll run the software update as soon as we're back home (yes I did pick up a micro SD card :p). I really hope that this fixes her

if it doesn't, I guess I'll just have to accept this as a part of her, like RWM has so kindly done with her many pleos. Lotti, how many times has this happened to your pleo? I'm interested to know if we really are going through the same thing.

It happened three times to Quiggley. Each occasion was only a few days apart and every time there didn't seem to be a real cause. I thought that Pleo rb's in general got ' injured' if knocked or dropped at that it would be a fair bump that would trigger the injury.That was not the case with Quigley' and the same thing does not happen with our other rb. Twiglet. Our Quiggley is described as sensitive so maybe that means sensitive to injury and not emotionally sensitive?either way I found it frustrating because it was without cause. I quite like the idea that pleos teach children how to be gentle as they see the consequences of rough play.However this really backfires when the children are careful and Pleo gets injured anyway! Very sadly Quiggley tail stopped working too and had to be swapped. The replacement has had no injury( yet). Our first injury happened about 5-6 days after hatching.

So sorry, Wicked. I don't think it's anything you're doing. I think pleo reborn legs are just... really finicky things. I treat my pleos like eggs and yet my fourteen month-old male RB suddenly developed leg problems in January. It's not quite the same problem. I really hope a software fix works for you.

could it be that that's normal, and now I'm just supposed to nurse her back to health like I've been doing and hopefully the cycle will be broken? Or was the update supposed to immediately clear up her injury? $:-\$
