Luckily I was able to get an exchange for the place that i got Indie from and now i would like to introduce Kai to everyone

I'm hoping that there wont be any problems with him and cant wait to watch him hatch, so watch this space! I will miss Indie very much but at least im lucky enough to have a pleo at all

should update him to the 1.1 software straight away? *waits impatiently for the battery to charge*

Luckily the place i brought him from is a large chain company who do straight swaps for faulty items. how do i tell what software version he has?

After he wakes up and goes through his hatching time. if he doesn't sing when you rub under his chin, he will probably have the original OS. My last two had 1.1 already installed.

If anyone had told me I'd get so attached to these little dinos when I first thought of ordering one, I wouldn't have believed them.
I did purchase a three year warranty with Peeky, from Sharper Image, but didn't know it was still good.
I love Penelopie and J.C but they are just not the same as the first dino on the block. Talking about tears

I just couldn't send Peeky back.

He's beautiful to me!

I know the feeling. It ate me away sending Sophie 1 back. Once Sophie 2 got here, they just weren't the same.

P.S. Kisumi, did you see I have a puppy named Kai?? Haha, now that was a good laugh reading you have a pleo named Kai! :-D

I'm beginning to believe that no two pleos are the same. They may look alike and have the same parts but they have their own little personalities.

It's true though. Through all of my replacements, I can surely tell you each one is unique! Sophie 1 was by far my favorite. (Shhhh! Don't tell Sophie 2!) She used to explore all the time. And I tell ya, her most favorite past time was sitting there watching tv with me!

No two Pleo's are the same, even if they come to us identical it is our own idiosyncrasies that come out and affect our Pleo's development and make each one different. I wonder if perhaps your second (or third... or forth) Pleo seems so different because perhaps subconsciously you do not put the same amount of effort into them. Particularly for those of you who had an immediate replacement perhaps the excitement was not as great as when you first unpacked your very first dino.

Having had to wait a month for my second Pleo to arrive I was as excited as when Matilda came and as a consequence I spent five full battery charges just with Lilo, with no other distractions around, shaping her to how I wanted her to be, encouraging her to explore, making sure she was happy and as a result she is very very similar to Matilda (and yet different in her own little ways) in some ways I would have to say Lilo turned out to be more what I wanted since this time I knew what I was doing

Although Matilda will always be special.

Remember we shape our Pleo's and if yours has become something you do not like as much then it is up to you to do something about it. Turn off the TV tonight, give your Pleo a fresh battery and spend some time making your Pleo what you want them to be, make them explore, make them sleep on your lap, make them what you want

Haha! Another thing I found out, thanks to InmemoryofRomeo is in Australia Kai is a females name. What's your Kai, a boy or a girl? Our puppy Kai is a rambunctious male.
