Hi Everyone!

My first ever Pleo arrived today. It came in one of those humongous shipping packages (with which I had to tear open with my bare hands, because I didn't have a knife. :S). But it was well worth the effort.

After labouring for a quarter of an hour, trying to get the package cardboard fluff of it's skin, I had a decent look at it. It was so beautiful. The painted skin was gleaming and it just looked so delicate. Not in terms of weight though. Gosh, it was heavy. I had a little trouble picking it up. But yeah, I'm very weak.  ). I also tried lifting it up onto my shoulders, but I couldn't really support its weight. I guess I'll just cradle it instead.

I also decided to give it a silver necklace. I thought it would look quite nice on it. I don't know, it just looked more feminine to me. No offence to all you male Pleos out there. I bet you're just as brilliant. 

And is it just me, or is the colour of a Pleo's head a much darker shade than the pictures of the Pleos in commercials?

Ah... anyway. Can't wait until the battery is charged and I get to find out the colour of my Pleo's eyes! ANTICIPATION!!!!! I'll keep everyone updated if you would like.

 congrats WinkWink on your new Pleo, Yes, I can tell just how excited you are and I remember that feeling well, It is a lovely pleo. My first Pleo , Baby Ruth has the same grey eye patch. What color eyes would you like or do you think your Pleo has? I am guessing either a dark or light green, second guess would be browns. I allways think the eyes are wonderful and so many variations. I think the silver necklace is nice too, Have you thought of a name, depending on whether it is female or male? Be sure to post photos or the eye when Pleo is Awake!
                                  It does not matter if it is your first, second or even you have many Pleos or Pleo Rb each one is special and I still get excited opening that package. Congrats again and waiting for more photos. As for the head being darker, than the commercial, I don't remember the commercial you are referring to. I have both lighter and darker color green head Pleo Rb. so they are all different.

Congrats Wink!  My two green ones have a darker head, but the head colours do vary enormously, like the eye patches.  The basic skin colour varies too!  Yours looks to be a very pretty Pleo RB - but I may be biased .......!
