It was working just a moment ago though, I charged one battery, let it cool and went to put the next one on and... nothing

I think it might just be the adapter though since I've fried four other adapters since I moved to this house So far I've had to replace my laptop adapter, tv adapter, mp5 adapter, phone adapter and now this one. Something is wrong with the wiring in this house I'm sure, because I've also blown two surge protectors

I will check in town next week for an adapter but if the worst comes to worst did anyone ever find a place to buy a new cradle?

I just went through my box of spare adapters, the nearest I have is a 12V 0.6A adapter Sure hope I can get one is town

You'll need to keep the cradle, but the adapter should be easy enough to replace.

Yeah I think a normal modem adapter should do it... the 0.6A one I already have is from a modem. I just hope it isn't the cradle as well because they are so hard to get.

The Australian Ugobe Next Tech has shut down and Pleo World is down again, it doesn't look good at all

Only place I found to get cradle was www.vividstore.co.uk, but they only ship to the UK.

Thanks, I have some friends in the UK so I could probably work something out if it comes to it, but I'm pretty sure its probably just the adapter given that so many of my other ones have fried themselves in this house

Well the adapter should be easy to replace; just go to the Aussie equivalent of Radio Shack. 

The specs are on the adapter and on the back of the cradle. Maybe try a power strip with a surge suppressor for all your adaptors.

I have a surge protector but I think I will replace it anyway, its costing me a fortune in chargers There's plenty of adapters on Ebay if I can't get one in town

-GASP!!!- Oh no! You just got Lilo too! I have a spare earlier model cradel (just the cradel, no power cord) if you're interested IMR, I believe it's B Model....just for you, though

Aw thank you, hopefully its just the adapter though Given that I was using the cradle just fifteen minutes before then I don't think anything would have gone wrong with it so suddenly and because so many of my other adapters have had the same problem

I'll dissect it later and make sure none of the wires are loose Eek! only one battery to last a week I shall have to have Lilo on sparingly
