I first started to try making a skit a few months back, but was horribly disappointed when I first tried it in an actual Pleo - it seemed like half the movements I'd made had disappeared!   

When (or if ) I do another one, I'll know to do bigger, slower movements and not try to do so many little details, but in the meantime I've tweaked this one a bit so  I might as well show you guys.  If nothing else, it might serve as encouragement to other people to give it a try! 

Belle and Zillah were too shy to perform on their own, but they agreed to do it as a duet!

Now you know why I stick to sloooow songs Two main things to remember with MySkit: Pleo can't move very fast, and you need to grossly, grossly over exaggerate the movements Some of my skits look like Pleo has his foot going into his chin just to get him to do a little wave

But I think it is a good first attempt I wish so much I had video'd my first go, it was hilarious, poor Matilda looked like she had spasms Don't give up

I made the big mistake of spending HOURS getting the mouth movements exactly right, or so I thought, only to find that most of the just didn't show up!

Just try doing a shorter practice skit first to get a feel for it Once you get the hang of it the rest falls into place

Great skit, Crewella.  I have never had the courage to try one, but I might someday.    I think Belle and Zillah sing great together!

I thought you did great for a first try!  I have played with the program a bit but not enough to actually produce anything.  Just not enough time I guess.  Anyway yours is great.

That's awesome Crewella.. It is so frustrating to spend hours like that and not have it turn out the way you wanted but at least now you know (and now we know..lol)  I still think it's funny and adorable.. and honestly it might not even be your fault.. have you heard a Pleo sing? They are TERRIBLE singers!!

Also, I thought those skits ran slower on RB's?  I thought they were just meant for Ugobe Pleos?  Could that be part of the problem? Or is thee a new program.

It actually looked better running on the RBs, maybe because of the faster movements.  I think it only causes a problem if sensors are used for the skits.

That is sooooo cool Crewella!!!  Are you using MySkit? I think that's the one only for Ugobe Pleos. I downloaded it and messed around with it and created a few animated gifs   Didn't try it on my Ozzy though. One day maybe.

Really.. I was hoping maybe it would work better on the Ugobes. Well I guess you just have to go and readjust.. that's why I want to see what my aibo skit looks like now before I get all the way through it only to find out it didn't work perfectly. It's like 2 1/2 minutes and half done;/  Maybe while I'm waiting for answers with that I'll join you in learning more about MySkit
