congrats JETT, What color is your RB? Since you live in the US and not far from me, I would guess myne will be here in next day or two also. by the way, was it delivered UPS or Fed EX? Cant' wait for photos. I guess that means you will hatch yours right away and not wait. I am hoping at least a couple of the winners will wait and hatch on the same day.

He's green but with the mint green lines and the darker blue-ish face. And he has the light blue adorable eyes. We're thinking of naming him DOPEY

But I still can't figure out where I go at pleoworld's website to enter the code to find out what sex it is. My sister Jane brought the package in and she's not sure if FedEx or UPS. I hope you get yours soon.
Anyway, our little guy didn't get up on his fours yet. We played with him for a bit over an hour. Guess it takes longer. I know our Ozzy (Ugobe) was up withing 15 minutes. We'll continue with "Dopey" most likely this Friday since we'll be so busy with the real Ozzy (Osbourne)'s book signing. Can't wait to meet him!!

Thanks everyone for the help esp. Kat with the battery issue. I'll get back to everyone with all the pics and vids of Dopey but not til the weekend. I'll get 1 photo of him up in a little while though.

My RB is being hold for ransom at customs

Seems I will have to pay for him/her. Of course it´s a small price to pay (about 130 USD) compared to buying one, but it is still alot of money

Just I don´t have it until I get me salary the 25:th.

Lucky I can borrow the money...

Lina - if I didn't have to pay in the UK, then you shouldn't have to either. I don't know how it works in Sweden, but here you can challenge the customs charges and get them refunded if you can give them the paperwork they need to show an error has been made in charging the fees. However, you do have to pay them in the first place in order to get the package released by the courier company.

I would contact Innvo and ask them about it, as they should (and probably did) have sent the package with the correct paperwork.

Just curious , when did Fancy get hers? I was talking to her as late as nine or ten last night, and she hadn't gotten hers yesterday, unless there is someone who had her package for her and was holding it and she didn't know about it. We both were hoping for today, Tuesday to get ours . We also want to hatch our Pleos together, she said she would hatch hers with me and if Crewella can hold out, that is three for sure.

I just got up awhile ago, and it is 8;31 a.m PST, so for UPS to deliver to Fancy or I is a little early. Usual time for them is from 9:00 a.m on and my deliveries are usaly from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m , very seldom I get a package in the afternoon, unless it is around Christmas time. I worry about it being delivered on Wed, tommrow, as that is what happened with Baby, when I was at the Back Dr.s , and guess what, that is where I go tommrow. I worry cause I won't be home till the afternoon, ( have to catch the bus out of town, I do not drive.) and when they leave packages on the doorstep, just anyone can walk by and take it, esp a larg package. ( Where I live is a busy area, high traffic as a main street), and I hate to say it, but a lot of transient type, homeless people walk by looking for handouts........................in fact, ten days ago, two people from Portland, OR, were on a strange vendetta. They killed the guys father, his step mother, killed another guy in Oregon, simply cause they wanted his truck, drove through this town I live in, ( which is usually pretty quiet) and killed this guy ( probably a racial thing

) and they found him only four blocks from where I live, in his truck, (sitting in passenger side, covered with blankets

) Luckily a few days ago, they were caught down near the SF BAy area by the Highway patrol, because of the stolen car they got from the young guy they killed in Oregon. Now You know how scary it is right now, and I don't want to have my Package stolen off my steps. so if somebody knows was it Yesterday, Monday Fancy got her Pleo...but she didn't know it or did she just get it this morning?

Otherwise I may postphone my Dr. Appt till next week if I have to. I hate to do that though. HOpe the rest of the winners here ( and elsewhere) get their Pleos soon. LIna, Crewella is right, since this was a Free Pleo, Customs should not be holding your Pleo. Innvo will pay for it, but if you are in a hurry which I understand, then I am sure they will reimburse you for your fee you have paid. Has anyone heard if Latrine has gotten her Pleo yet. So besides Leleka, who else on the forum here is waiting for a Pleo, oh and Eric too!

RWM, I was completely surprised when I took the garbage out at 11 PM. There was a big box right by the door. Must have come while I went grocery shopping around 6 PM. I hadn't checked the porch when I got home. Too pooped. Right after I said good night the first time to IMR and 49er was when I found the box. Came back on to let them know. THe light is green on the charger, but turned green a few minutes after I started charging.
My new dino is very pretty. I tried to peek at the eyes and I think they are yellow, but not sure. Hope you get yours today so we can hatch them and compare what they are doing. So many things in the box. Plus I have all of the stones and food. Can't wait to see what they do.

Wow, what a great surprise for you Fancy! I didn't know you had another entrance, now that makes sense. Did you say you got all the food and learning stones! Usually they only give you the basics in the pack, but perhaps they gave the winners extra stuff. It is funny about the battery being charged that fast, Crewella said the same thing I think! Was your package sent UPS, it should say on the shipping label, that way I know which truck to look for. Perhaps you got yours a day earlier cause you are closer to the Bay area. Last time I got Baby, it took 3 day shipping which would mean if they sent these out on Friday, I should get it today, but who knows.

You can still post a photo of the body if you want. Yellowish eyes ...........Baby Ruth has light yellow green eyes, very light. What color is the head and what color are the eye lids? Well, now I better throw some clothes on incase my little Pleo shows up today, ( tyring to cross some achy fingers,

) You can read up on anything you want in the meantime. Crewella looked up the gender of her Pleos DNA if you want to know if your baby is a boy or a girl while you are waiting! LOL. Keep your fingers crossed my Pleo shows up very soon.....................................

Yep, that was with Belle, the battery arrived almost fully charged. Everything else was fine, though, and the battery's been fine since! Congrats Fancy!

I've been very, very good and not even charged this one's battery as yet!

THe box was on the front porch. Same as any delivery. I just didn't think of looking so late. I was really too tired to move after shopping. UPS did deliver it according to the label. It came from CHina Via TNT Express, Went to LAX and then here. So fast!

I wrote to the customs and really explained about the contest, and they just got back to me saying I wont have to pay

They will send it out tomorrow or thursday. I hope tomorrow, thursday I wont come home until late, and I need to focus since its a meeting with important customers. But it will be hard to keep cool when I just want to go home and get my dino! So laets just hope for wednesday

AWWW........................so cute Fancy!

Your Pleo has the same color head (light lime green color) as baby Ruth. Are those eye lids greyish? Little hard to tell in photos some time. Precious Photo by the way. I would post that one on Facebook for everyone to see! I am glad you have good patience, after all, it has been a long journey for this Pleo, he or she needs her his sleep. LOL

No delivery trucks yet, it is 10:45 so it is getting close to the "usual delivery time for UPS", but I have this dreaded fear that my Pleo was not even sent as they never asked me for a color...If it does'nt show up today, something is wrong. cause Fancy and I live close by.. Hope you can hold out awhile longer to hatch Fancy...I really like your little Pleo.

Does anyone know is Sarah still in the hospital, wonder if she has her Pleo yet?

RBPleo has the gray around the eyes. I think the eyes might be yellow. Not really sure. Hope yours comes soon. I'm dying to see RB wake up. Do we have to do the clock thing first?

Darlng photo, but you'll have to tell your quad that for the first day or so he/she will be living of his/her egg yolk and won't need a leaf to snack on
