Just something I put together this morning. As it happens, I'm an active member of Dr Steel's Army of Toy Soldiers, an army of fun and games that aims to promote the music and philosophies of Dr Steel, a mad scientist intent on taking over the world (mostly through wearing outlandish paramilitary/steampunk costumes in public, handing out flyers and cards, and playing around in public)
After I told him about the success of our latest "invasion" of London, Littlefoot insisted I enlist him, and so I did. He is now the first real robot to be in the Army of Toy Soldiers, and the second non-human creature (The other, apparently, is a potted plant...)
So I put together this little cape for him. Simple enough a design, I used the same pattern as for his leaf cape, but in grey cloth, added some loose elastics around the neck, then sewed a Toy Soldiers Unite-UK patch on (courtesy of Private Morglum. thank you very much Morgy.), then stencilled on the Dr Steel logo in fabric paints.
Here's the end result:
Here's one of him attempting the Dr Steel salute. But unfortunately, he's not quite flexible enough to put his right paw over his heart. Still, creds for trying.
