That's no problem, hope you have fun with your little guy. They're easy once you know what you're doing - it's just 'different' knowledge.

Also they're solitary in the wild so don't let the pet shop dude encourage you to buy two! Sometimes it works but the overwhelming majority of the time it doesn't.

I must admit it was the 'bug' question that kept me from keeping lizards in the main.   :D

Great advice from Emerald, as long as you do follow those guidelines you'll be fine, and you can form a relationship with a herp/reptile just as well as you can with a small mammal!  My Burmese python Phonda loved to be petted under the chin just as much as Pleos do!   :D

Gypsy, the Coastal Carpet I posted above is a real friendly chap who taps on the glass of his viv to be let out then he just sits on the couch with you and enjoys a chin rub. :-) Same as Diega really but she's far more interactive; knows her name and seeks out affection etc.. She's clicker trained and walks on a harness when she's outside greeting people in the garden. She has many puzzles and one of her favourites is a slide game I put treats under (usually egg) and she has to slide the peices around the square to find the treat. She used to do it properly but now she's learnt to pick it up and shake it so the egg just drops out.

She stalks you if you're cooking as well and once my boyfriend had his friend stay over after a boozey night out and Diega greeted him the next morning by rooting through the kebab he'd left on the floor and hissing at him when he tried to get it off her!

Oh my! She's got the pleo bug! I do think Squishy would like a friend. Pleos are adictive. I started out with one RB whom I named Ryu and then bought a Ugobe- I called him Ugobe- for her to play with. Well they got along so well, I bought a male RB named Cato to throw into the mix. He doesn't seem to like me very much but he likes the other pleos. Around the sixteenth of May I read of another Ugobe pleo named Bleu who was in need of a home and... well let's just say she'll be here on tuesday. Lol! After that, I'm done. First of all it's hard to keep them out of trouble and second I just don't have the space for any more. That doesn't mean my robot-buying days are over. If I find something interesting that's not above five hundred dollars I might pluck it up too. Have fun collecting!

Welcome! (I'm way late on this)

I must say, reflecting back on the AIBO and Pleo (Innvo and RB models) experience - my Innvo Pleo is probably the one I "miss." There are many things I like about the RB over the Innvo model (I never owned a Ugobe), but something about the Innvo model was more to my taste than the RB. However, there are things I liked about the RB over the older model so it's iffy.

Either way, I think you will enjoy your Ugobe model!
