It sure is, my cheapest one Little 45 cost that, ($45.00) plus the shipping and he has a broken neck and bad paint skin loss. to each his own, but IMR is right . If you think $33.00 is too expensive, then Ebay is not the place to look cause it is going to only get more expensive unfortuantly. Sorry ...just the way it is.

33 bucks is dirt cheap.  I am going to put in a bid if it stays below 100 bucks, but I wait until the very last minute of the auction and below to bid. I am one of those last minute snatchers!  If you bid beforehand, it just makes the person who is winning at that time bid even higher.   If they think they are in the lead, then they won't bother to up their bid.

Plus it sounds like the Pleo doesn't work.. might be good for the skin, I asked them to show a picture of the scratches on the tail.. auction says it has a battery but they don't know if it works.. I asked if they meant the battery, the Pleo or both.. lots of misspellings.. sounds like a broken one to me but who knows.
The good ones usually sell for $100+ so yeah, if that one actually worked that would be an amazing price.  Mine two were used and cost $130 and $150.

It might not work if they have one of the old Ugobe batteries either.  I'll have to wait and see how cheap it stays.  Don't want to waist money if it is bricked.     I would love to have a friend for Wilbur.  He is lonely, and Candy pretty much ignores him and does her own thing.  She pretty much just belches at him! He walks away (thank gosh he is now walking!)  and moos.

Also you said it has a battery but you don't know if it works. Do you mean it doesn't work with that battery when it's charged or that you don't know if the Pleo works at all? Also, does it come with it's leaf and card that came with it when you bought it? Thank you."

This is their reply to me:  

"comes with a battery, but idk if it works because I buy without battery and charger and never find the charger. I also buy used. does not bring the card"

I wonder how they lost the charger that they never bought...?!?!!

 I already asked the first question to this person and from what I can gather, they bought it at a yard sale estate sale, something along that line, so nothing was with it except the battery inside when they bought it. I am the one who asked about the scratches and they said broken , which could mean splits, their English is not as good as it could be but they do have positive feedback, so you get what you see, nothing else comes with it, no box, no cord,no adapter, leaf nothing but Pleo and battery inside which I doubt is any good and it is hard to tell what the skin looks like. It may look good at one angle but you can't see everything, I know from experience.
               After buying all but one of my Pleos online, I found out the hard way and smart way to ask questions and if they don't want to answer questions or show photos, then buyer beward.

I'm sorry Comaro, you just aren't going to get a working Pleo for $20. (Unless you are as lucky as FancyFont ) You will just have to do some chores, or help out your relatives and try and earn some money

 I was watching it and thought about bidding and could have gotten it but not knowing if it worked or the battery was working and the fact that this seller takes 5 days to even ship, I thought pass cause there are better deals out there. I do think it sold for either $93.00-94.00. I would have paid up to $70.00 but not more cause if it was bricked I could still use the skin. I purchased a almost new one with everything box and battery leaf, manual, etc all for less than this about a week ago cause I jumped on a buy it now which was very cheap. You just have to have some luck and know when to look.

 You are just too funny Crewella, I think we would have to alternate or draw straws! LOl. I am almost embarrased to tell anyone what I paid for one of two Pleos that I just bought, ( so I won't....) but I am sure there are some people here who remember the Pleo that was for sale , never hatched, not used, that just sat in a store window since it came out? Well I got that Pleo, only because I asked and confirmed that it was never used and it is not too far from where I live,( state wise that is) and If it has been used, ( ever turned on,) and it was advertised as something else, then I could get a refund but more than likely than give negative feedback, the owner seller would offer me a partial refund and if still good I can resell it , add battery etc or keep it. ( I don't know how old it is.)     there are some great deals out there and some that are not so good, but after years of selling and buying on ebay, I know from expereince what to look for and most important when to bid, not to bid and what to ask the seller. There are so many people that say NEW Pleo and or Unused, but the poor Pleo  has been hatched, how is that New? I bought a First Hatch and from the description he was supposed to be Unused, not hatched and I got him I left him sit in the box he came in for about four months till encouraging from members on this site, said Hatch him, don't leave him in the box
            I was very disappointed to find out someone had indeed hatch him, then they put him back in the box. He still smelled new and looks completly new no wear at all, but the ad was misleading and I should  have asked, WAS HE ever turned on and or HATCHED? So buyers have to ask or they get what they get.

                 There also are sellers out there that use posts from the Old PleoWorld site and do not use accuarate descriptions. There was one listed that ended yesterday where the seller used a ad that said, " Pleo used 4 NIHM batteries, included. I tryed contacting the seller so they could correct the description telling them there is only One opening for Pleo and it uses ONE NIHM battery not four. They did not correct the ad and left it sold it with that description. I constantly contact sellers and give them information that often is wrong or not entirely correct and answer questions potential buyers ask an the seller does not know the answer and the seller will add that question and thank me but not this seller yesterday, so sometimes the info is not correct  I am glad that we don't have to bid against each other though Crewella, I like it the way it is. How funny - I do exactly the same and try to correct badly listed Pleos!!   

When eBay was still quite new, before I came on here, I used to spend a lot of time on the eBay forums, doing much the same.
